The Durrells in Corfu: The Complete Third Season Masterpiece

I Loved this show and my whole family watched it with me. All is good until you get hooked and then the rating changes to pg 14 and became innapropriate with nudity. We stopped watching and are disappointed that it didn’t remain family friendly.

Of course it’s 5-star entertainment. It has drama, love, snorting humor, blissful sets, and a storyline that is worthy of being a Masterpiece series. You don’t need to be up on the journey of the Durrell family; but I strongly recommend buying seasons one through three, and watching them in order. I’ve been with this show from the start and have seen the depth of the characters develop to the extraordinary proportions presented in this third season. In this rewarding 3rd year it is very difficult to choose a favorite character. The company has blended into a unit as was the case with Downton Abbey. Even the maid shows her personality. Durrells in Corfu is simply fun, fun, fun viewing.SDH SUBTITLES for all 8 episodes plus the bonus footage.

My family is watching Season 3 for the second time, enjoying every minute.So much amazes me with this series. The setting is magical. The many characters flow like a jeweled kaleidoscope, believable and (usually) lovable. In every episode I say, more than once, "Look at the cinematography! Brilliant!"The adventures of Season 3 are varied and yet wonderfully knit together. Every character is unique, and whole. Each actor is adept. Individually and as a complete whole, this series, including Season 3, are on par with Downton Abbey.Let me put "five stars" in perspective. Five different people here voted five stars, without hesitation. That's twenty-five stars with an average of 5.0.When we finished Season 2, which was free for Prime members, we just had to move right on to Season 3, which was for sale. Glad we did!

The Durrells is an engaging family drama with humor and a heart. In our modern time of so many gritty, harsh and hard-hitting video series, this is a refreshing step into a more literate and uplifting comedy/drama with a flair and flavor of multicultural diversity and simple fun.It is one of those series that truly benefit from having been a successful series of books written with thought, heart, humanity and an embracing attitude towards one's fellow men and women.Highly recommended!

"The Durrells", a delightful collection of tales of a lighter time, is a most charming and visually scrumptious adaption of the books by naturalist, Gerald Durrell; filmed on location with top drawer actors, writers & designers, this beautiful, work will transport the viewer to 1930's Corfu and leave him longing to stay.

That goes for Seasons 1 and 2, as well. Though I must admit, Louisa became more and more irritating, until I just wanted to kick her by Season 3. But the other characters were engaging, the setting and costumes were wonderful, and seeing the childhoods of Gerald and Lawrence Durrell, (2 of my favorite writers) resurrected from the past, was a bit like finding a time machine.

For the past six months I have been unable to stream an Amazon movie w/o constant buffering. In spite of multiple requests for assistance, the problem persists. Nothing works. And yes, it's probably a good movie.

Definitely worth buying. A quality wholesome yet entertaining show. Something that everyone will enjoy. I was disappointed when it ended. Wish I could find more shows like this On TV.

The Durrells in Corfu 3 carries on this great series!! All of the actors are superb and the episodes are stellar!!

My only complaint about this fabulous series video is that it took weeks to reach me - but it was worth the wait.
