Q: Will this device work in a remote area that has strong cell phone signal but no internet service?

IKf you don't want remote access to it then yes, but I don't think that is what you are asking. You will still need a network connection adaptor of some sort for remote access. Victron sells the GX GSM adaptor that you can insert a Sim card into directly, you can get a 3rd party cellular gateway/router. You could use long range network radios to use rather than a physical cable. There is LoRaWAN module by Victron that can be used to connect to WIFI access points that connect to the internet. This last option isn't widely available but you could set up access points between your home and the Color Control without breaking the bank, and the people along the way will be grateful for internet access. You could get together with people in your community that may want this and share the cost.

Q: Where can i buy the power wires for the color controler

Any wire will do, it is not a special part. We strongly advocate downloading and reading the manual on Victron's site during the planning stage - victronenergy.com.

Q: what wires if any does this come with?

Just the combo power and data wire attached to the display. It is about 7ft long. Yo U can buy an HDMI and USB extension to make them longer.

Q: will this monitor work without a victron inverter/charger?

Yes, but must be used with Victron products
