This is a terrible waste of plastic to get salt in my water. Are the pods at least considered recyclable?

The plastic used in the SaltPod capsule is high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and has the designation of recycling code #2. The SaltPod capsule’s foil lid is made of aluminum, and most recycling operations accept HDPE with aluminum foil attached to it, although some do not. If not, the foil can easily be removed from the pod. The plastic used in the SaltPod packaging is recycled PET (RPET), recycling code #1. Will this help reduce enlarged turbinate obstruction?

It can help some of your nasal drainage, but having been through two sinus surgeries, one to reduce enlarged turbinates, I'd get the surgery if you can. However this will help your symptoms if you use it 1-2x a day if you can't do surgery right now!
