Perfect gift for a child
We purchased this set for my son’s birthday. And it was a very good present for him. He enjoys every single item! The favorites are magnifying glass and binoculars. It was a little invention for him to find out there is a glass that makes objects bigger. Now he takes both of those items outside and explores every insect he sees and every flower we pass by. And, of course, a flashlight! This is a necessary accessory in his backpack. We do not afraid of the dark anymore.

Nice. Decent Quality. Not a Big Package so might not be great for Gifts.
We purchased this as a gift for a 5 year old niece.While she loved it and played with it, the package is sort of underwhelming as a gift.It all comes bundled in that small white box you see in the picture. So we ended up unpacking the whole things and throwing everything in the bag just to be more presentable.

Makes kids happy
This is a nice set for 4-5 yr old - I bought it mainly to teach a little one the principles of how compass and magnifying glass work, whistle is an extra fun (not!), providing a backpack to put all staff in it was a great idea.

My daughter loves it
I bought this set for my 9-year old daughter, she was so excited when the package arrived. She loves this kit, she even took it one day to school and she was the most popular girl that day :) every kid wanted to hold at least one item out of this bag :) Everything is in good shape and good quality. If you have kids I guarantee they will love it!!

Don’t waist your money
A great idea, but some components were cheaply made. I dropped the flashlight once and the cheap plastic shattered. The “backpack” is a cheap nylon bag with a drawstring and two too-long strings that are supposed to fit over the child’s shoulders but are way too long. The magnifying glass appears to be made out of the same cheap plastic as the flashlight, so I don’t think it will survive a drop from little hands. The only quality part of the kit is the binoculars.

He Loved it!
Purchased as a birthday gift for a 5 year old. It arrived just in time for his weekend camping trip with his grandfather. Was told the pack was carried the entire trip and exploring with "Supplies" was the best fun.

Birthday gift
I bought this for my 5 year old neighbor for her birthday. She loves everything bugs and plants, very much the little explorer. She was very excited and her Mother said it was perfect for her.
