Pulltap's Genuine Classic 500 Corkscrew Wine Key Bottle Opener (Black/Black)

This bottle opener is the same brand as one my husband purchased in Italy many years ago. Unfortunately that one was confiscated by TSA as it was in his backpack. (Of course he flew to Europe with it there and it was taken on the return to the US). So I replaced it for him and he loves it.

I bartend at a craft bar just outside of Queens Ny and go through several bottles (between 5 and 20) a shift. Prior to this opener, I broke 3 other openers in under 2 months. I also ripped countless corks and shattered the top of a wine bottle with the other openers. I've opened upwards of 250 bottles so far (I kept track until bottle 200, then gave up as there was no change in performance) with this wine key, and it's still feels like new. By that I mean the double-lever hasn't loosened and the knife on the back is still sharp and stays in place. I've already put this wine key through more bottles of wine than most people will open in their life and fully expect to go another year before I have to buy a new one. When. I do, it will be another Pulltap.

Besides arriving sooner than expected we are so happy to have a corkscrew that does the job as it should. Design is great, and we like the pull out foil cutters location.

I’ve tried all kinds of cork openers, and this is by far the simplest and the best. Cheaper and better than other more complicated models. I fine addition to any kitchen or cellar.

I like it! There are many helpful Youtube videos if, like me, you're new at using a lever-type corkscrew. My first attempt went perfectly, thanks to the online tutorials and this well made gadget!

I’ve used this twice. Frankly, I’m surprised I tried a second time after the struggle of the first experience. I will say that the second time was easier. I read that there’s a learning curve with this. Hopefully, it will get easier each time.
