The keys feel nice to type on and the trackpad responds well, so it really does make my iPad feel closer to a laptop. The layout is easy to get used to and the shortcut keys are super handy. The hinge and cover feel sturdy, and the whole thing looks clean and well-made. It snaps onto the iPad securely and also works as a protective case, which is great because I don’t have to baby it when I toss it into my bag. Battery life has also been really good so far. What I like the most is that it balances being lightweight with being functional. I can take it with me without feeling like I’m carrying another full device. Perfect for writing, replying to emails, or doing light work when I’m out. It’s also easy to wipe clean since there aren’t any weird corners for dust to get stuck in.

Really nice keyboard for my daughters old iPad. She loves the look and feel and the way the monitor swirls in all directions and has all the necessary features.. A very stylish design keyboard set and seems durable. My daughter really like it.

When I first got my iPad Pro I was strongly considering getting the Apple Magic Keyboard that they sell. Having done some research I discovered something that was a deal breaker for me. With the Apple keyboard when you remove the iPad from the keyboard there is no cover to protect the iPad in case of a fall or anything like that. I am very careful with my iPad, but as expensive as they are I can’t take that chance of not protecting it at all times. I then decided that I wanted a case that would remain on the iPad that also had a full keyboard. This one is perfect for that except for one thing which I will discuss in a moment. First I will describe the features which I really like. I really like the fact that the keyboard has a number of shortcut keys that are unique to Macs or iPads. For example it has a key that minimizes any open app and takes you to the Home Screen. It has keys that are great for music (fast forward, rewind, skip, volume control, etc.). It has a key which will quickly lock the screen and the last goes on. I like the fact that the “monitor” (i.e. the iPad itself) can be rotated 360 degrees and can be tilted in many positions. This allows for a multitude of viewing positions which is ideal if watching a video, or typing on it, or whatever. The iPad can also be folded flat over the keyboard so that you can just lay it on your lap when you don’t need the screen (the iPad, because with the keyboard on it, it feels like a laptop at this point). The only drawback is that it is slightly heavy, but that’s the way it has to be in order to have these features and the keyboard. This is not a deal breaker for me because I almost never hold my iPad up when using it. I typically lay it down flat, or tilt it when using it. In that case I don’t feel the weight obviously. I have only had it about a week so I can’t comment on the battery life of the keyboard, but the percent of charge has gone down very slowly. With average use I would imagine that it would last at least weeks between charges. Then when you do need to charge it it charges with the same USB-C cable that it used to charge the iPad with. It charges pretty quickly as well. I forgot to mention that it has a built in Apple Pencil holder which I also really like. It holds the pencil on very securely. Overall this keyboard case is just what I wanted, and I do recommend it!

This Uminy keyboard case truly enhances my iPad setup. The brightness of the 7-color backlit keys is excellent. easy to see in any lighting, with adjustable levels that work great day or night. Ease of use is top-notch: Bluetooth paired instantly, and the case is simple to open, close, and adjust. The touchpad responsiveness is smooth and accurate with all iPadOS gestures, making navigation effortless. The magnet strength feels secure. my iPad attaches firmly in every position, and it stays put whether typing, watching videos, or sketching. Overall, perfect balance of brightness, usability, responsiveness, and secure magnetic hold. Highly recommended!
