Had some stubborn grime built up along the side of my boat — the kind that laughs at soap, shrugs at scrubbing, and generally makes you question your life choices. Enter STAR BRITE Instant Hull Cleaner. Sprayed this stuff on and it went to work like it had a personal vendetta against dirt. The grime didn’t just loosen — it retreated. I swear I heard it scream. Cleaning suddenly required about 1/10th the effort, which is perfect because I’d rather be sailing than reenacting “The Karate Kid” with a sponge. Five stars. Works fast, works well, and makes boat cleaning almost enjoyable… almost.

I’m pretty anal about keeping my 18’ white and teal fiberglass flats boat clean and maintained. But over time it started developing a below-the-waterline stain that just didn’t come off with normal cleaning. I was dreading a lot of upcoming elbow grease to get it off. I started researching the best solution, came across recommendations for StarBrite Hull Cleaner, and ordered a bottle. As per instructions, all I did was spray, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse off with a hose. I did use a cleaning mitten to help spread the cleaner evenly, but NO scrubbing was involved. There were a few stubborn areas that I had to treat a second time, but again, no scrubbing. After the second treatment the results were amazing! And so easy! There was no discoloration on the teal portion, and no damage to decals. I did not use gloves, and had no issues with my hands. I would recommend eye protection as it stings your eyes. One bottle was more than enough for my boat. I accidentally sprayed some on the inside bottom of an old stained cooler and it came out shiny white, so it’s got me thinking about other possible uses for this product. I highly recommend StarBrite Hull Cleaner. I haven’t yet cleaned the rear bottom hull (the part that’s so inaccessible while on the trailer), but it’s bugging the crap out of me because the difference is so dramatic!

One of those products that works as advertised or better.. spray on and watch it work with minimal effort. Took out brown stains and made hull look great. Suggest putting a coat of wax after cleaning with this product to prolong results

The product did an amazing job. My boat gets heavily stained by the brackish cedar water of our tidal creek and it just disappeared with this product. Tried on vinyl boat fenders and my aluminum boatwith great resuls. The sprayer was a problem though. It would send a stream not a spray like it was supposed to and completely stopped working after half a bottle. The product also drew some yellow jackets to the area.

Wow, it's nice to use a product that backs up it's claims. I live on a Florida river that spills into the Gulf of America. It becomes tainted brown during the rainy season which stains the hull of white fiberglass boats. This stuff removed it beautifully with spray on and rinse off instructions. Other cleaners did nothing.
