These are top tier LEDs. Trust me when I say that the $40-80 competitors aren’t worth your time or money. The main reason is because these bulbs have the ability to be “clocked” or rotated to the correct angle for your housing. Depending on the make/model you have you may need to clock them. For my 2013 Honda Accord I did not need to. These lights are easily 5x brighter and have a wider beam than stock halogen. For installation, it is best to park your vehicle 25ft from a flat wall on a flat surface and mark the high spots of your stock bulbs with masking tape. (As seen in my before and after photos) that way if these new bulbs are higher than the stock bulbs you may need to adjust the height on the vehicle to avoid blinding oncoming drivers. Again my Accord I did not have to do this. On a 2010-2014 Yukon you might have to, as I did have to quite a bit. Overall I am very pleased with these bulbs and would buy them again despite the price. It’s expensive but is your life worth a few hundred dollars? Because tires and headlights are what keep you safe in a vehicle during inclement weather and night driving.

This is an absolutely amazing replacement for the stock halogen bulb. Aimed at the same spot as stock so as not to blind oncoming traffic the lux is about 800x brighter than halogen (compare in photos how better the LED on the left is). I can actually see at night now! Plug and play was incredible simple as it fit perfectly, and the module popped into the headlight assembly so it’s protected behind the dust cover. This is a premium price for a premium product.

The bulb quality seems excellent, but the actual light on the road was much less than a good halogen bulb. I installed one bulb and left one halogen in Then I blocked each one individually, and the difference was very significant. I think these bulbs would work just fine and provide awesome light in a reflector headlight installation. Seeing the other reviews and given the price of these, I thought these might actually work in my projector beam. I did return these.

I put these into my Odyssey with projector housing and the improvement is night and day, even over my old HID retrofit. The benefit of these is that they eliminate the spider web of wires that come with a HID retrofit kit. The color temperature matches the more common daytime white seen on most cars nowadays. The LEDs are also instant on/off and it doesn't have to warm up like HIDs. Potential downsides are: they're technically not legal for low-beam, the beam pattern is hit or miss depending on your housing. Definitely don't put these into reflector housings. You'll just piss people off. Heat might also be a minor concern. Not sure about the lifespan of these guys, but they have a good reputation online, so we'll see how long they last.
