The transformer will get a little hot during operation. If the temperature exceeds the load, there is a recoverable fuse at the output of the transformer, the protection will be activated and the output will be disconnected

Q: Will this work with the Logitech Circleview Doorbell?

If it takes 24V, then yes. I have it on my Ring which needs 16-24V, works great.
