I go get water from a spring about once a month. I put this back near the tailgate of my truck and it works wonderfully holding four 5 gallon bottles from sliding around. I used to use a ratchet strap, but this one's so much better because I don't have to put it away. I haven't put the other one on quite yet, but I intend to put it at the front of the bed, to hold my generator in place. These were made for a Ford F150, but are so versatile, I easily put them in my GMC Sierra, just fine. It's an amazing price for an amazing item. Very easy to install

Build quality seems good but I did not receive the mounting screws that is a huge issue

UPDATE: seller contacted me after seeing this review and offered to make it right. I just wanted mounting screws which never shipped with the original packaging. They sent me a whole new set, which looked like a new and improved set with two mounting points instead of one. Don’t know why I didn’t just get that set in the first place. The self tapping mounting screws they actually sent this time, worked beautifully on my f150(23 lightning). With the problems resolved it is a very convenient and cool set up for permanently mounted straps in the car. Garbage. Does not come with mounting screws. Single screw is point of failure. Garbage garbage garbage.

Great mounted straps. Ratcheting mechanism is solid and has held up to some abuse. The only thing I'm concerned about is if one of the straps is damaged - from a sharp edge or similar - it seems like I'll just have to replace the entire mount. If that day comes, I think it'll be worth it, but that's the only downside for permanently mounted straps lol this.

These retractable tie down straps were exactly what I needed for my truck. They bolted right into the Boxlink system with no hassle and feel solid when securing heavy loads. The retractable design keeps everything neat and out of the way when not in use, and they extend smoothly with plenty of length. Great quality and a strong hold that makes hauling much easier.

These are great, strong straps, and for the price, can't beat it. I was surprised how easy they were to install and how perfectly they fit my F150. These have already been handy a few times. If you haul stuff around often, then these are a perfect addition for the truck. Great value for the money. I am very pleased with them and highly recommend.
