I took a chance on this bed and it's turned out to be pretty nice. I don't see how they can build this in Vietnam, ship it to the US, then ship it to my home for this price, but somehow they manage to do it. I ordered on a Friday and the two boxes arrived FedEx the following Thursday. The boxes were a bit banged up, but the packaging is good so nothing was damaged in any way or missing. The Amazon system apparently does not understand things that ship in two boxes, so it only showed the smaller box arriving, but there were two boxes, one for the headboard and footboard and the other for the rails and slats. It took about an hour to put together. It really helps to have an electric screwdriver.In general, it looks very nice. The quality is good enough for our guest bedroom. The footboard has a slight warp in it, but it's not noticeable. The materials are pretty thin. You can flex the bottoms of the headboard and footboard easily, but for this price that's not really an issue. Once assembled, the bed feels very solid. The construction is some solid wood and laminated plywood for the panels. Be careful; they ship some of the hardware in one box and the rest in the other. We almost missed that second bag. The instructions are not very clear on the braces they include showing a drawing of just putting a screw into the rail, but it was obvious where they go. They have a significant impact on the sturdiness of the bed.

This is the cheapest POS I have ever bought! The only reason I'm not returning it is because I have guests coming and I'd like for them to not sleep on the floor. The wood is extremely cheap. I was scared to screw the screws too tight for fear that it would crack the wood. There were cracks and dents all throughout the frame. I had an entire pack of screws missing (all the pieces for the railing) so at the moment I have no way to screw in the slats to secure this already extremely flimsy bed. I know you get what you pay for but I was definitely expecting for it to at least have all the parts and not be all beat up. I was also not expecting it to be solid and sturdy but this bed is way flimsier than I thought it would be. I would not recommend this bed at all.

Put together in about 30 mins. Love the color. some of the holes don’t align nice on the footer, there was an imperfection on the bottom rail board - chipped wood piece, also the screw caps don’t easily pop in, had to glue. Husband says it’s not sturdy and that “he’s going to look at it” but I think it’s nice. Update- there are only three small slats to hold the entire mattress and people. The bottom levelers kept coming out. My husband had to buy wood and make extra slats and levelers to help distribute the weight and hold the mattress more sturdy. Pic you can see the dark wood is all it comes with, also you can see the imperfection on the sideboard.

This thing tried to kill me.The slats on the bottom are press board, the second I sat on my bed the whole bottom fell out from under me.Now my daughter is sobbing I'm brused and sore and to add insult to injury I dont have a bed to sleep on tonight.Dont buy this and expect to use the slats. Careful!!

Now that it's together we are happy enough with it but the wood slats that it came with were too short for the frame. It looked like they gave us queen slats for a king frame. I had to run down to a matress store and pick up an extra pair of slats to make this work. Of course the spare set they had didn't fit perfecrly so I had to McGuiver their's and these slats together to make it work. It was a nightmare and I couldn't wait to call the manufacturer or send it back or anything like that because we had already disposed of our old frame and I needed it set up asap for that night. There were also dings and dents in the bed frame and the night stands we ordered from them as well. I would not order from this manufacturer again.

The bed/style itself is beautiful. Putting it together wasn't that simple. We had to google the item to follow the instructions. Once put together, it was very pretty. HOWEVER!!! After sleeping on it 3 nights, on the 4th night the middle slat broke!!! I don't even weigh 190 lbs., and it broke. Upon looking at the slat, it doesn't even look like a solid wood slat - more like layers of particle board glued together!!!! It's too much of a hassle to try and box everything back up and return it. My neighbor is going to try and add more slats - REAL WOODEN SLATS - to see if that will work. I pray that it does because I'm on a fixed income and this is starting to cost me more than it's worth!!!

The painting wasn’t all that great, they missed several spots. The quality is not that great. Nothing is labeled for assembly but luckily it sort of obvious. It works for now, but no the best quality

Deceiving. There are not enough pieces (not sure of the technical name) for the platform. There are three. You will need to buy a box spring in addition to this bed. Other than that I like the beds I bought.
