Incredibly surprised how well this works!
I recently was recommended this product customer service reps from The North Face after I contacted them regarding my down puffer jacket losing both its puffiness and also to some degree its warmth. I was quite skeptical at first to try this, but after using this on my jacket in the washing machine I was completely surprised and amazed how well it worked! It completely restored my jacket to a practically brand new condition and it even seems to be as warm as the first day that I wore it. While I can't say this product is fantastic for stain removal. It definitely helps soften the jacket and has a pleasant smell as well. I would 100% recommend for sad unpuffy jackets. ;)

Worked better than Nikwax!
Love this down wash. It worked better than the Nikwax one. It got dirt/discoloration out of fabrics, and I was satisfied with the loft afterwards. I am scent-sensitive, and it was also scentless/fragrance-free, which is a huge plus.

worked well on a 10 year old down jacket - very concentrated
This wash was easy to use on my 10 year old down jacket that probably hadn't been washed in 4 years. It is VERY concentrated - the packaging says to use 1 ounce of liquid per jacket. I think you would be able to get by with 0.5, it foams up like crazy. All in all, worked well to clean and fluff up my old down jacket. Recommend, better price point than nikwax for how many jackets it can wash (10.)

Military sleeping bag like new
Used this today in a laundromat and put my Army issue extreme cold weather sleeping bag in a large washer and went by the label and added 4 caps of the soap and I thought this won’t suds up, shoot it was really sudsy and rinsed out nice. Tossed it in a big dryer with 4 tennis balls and the bag got some color back and is nice and fluffy. Just follow the label instructions and it works great, I spilled some trying to fill the cap but it’s nice to be able to measure it from a pouch cap. Awesome and I still got a lot left for next time. There is no scent so it doesn’t smell all fresh and stuff but you know it’s clean.

One month update: After a few weeks and just leaving my jacket on the hanger, it actually looks better than before, i can see the fluffiness has somehow been restored, I'm now a believer! Just like what other have said, trust the process. Easy 5 stars for me now, although i still wish its a bit cheaper. Initial review: I would like to give this 5 stars, but I think I need to use it a few more times to fully see the results. So far, I’ve only tried it on my Uniqlo light down jacket. It’s possible that my jacket wasn’t in bad condition to begin with, which may be why I didn’t notice much of a difference, or this product might be better suited for thicker, heavier down jackets. After washing it with this soap and putting it in the dryer, I noticed that the feathers inside the jacket clumped together. Even the next day, when the jacket was mostly dry, the feathers were still clumped, and I had to separate them manually. This is my first time using a proper down jacket detergent, so I’m not sure if this is expected or user error. Another thing to note is the price. It recommends using 30 ml per jacket, which means this bottle is only enough for about 10 garments. That makes it feel a bit pricey for what you get. Overall, I’m reserving my final judgment for now and may upgrade this to 5 stars after seeing better results with my other jackets.

I have never cleaned down jackets at home & this was my first attempt. I was not sure of how to use the product but little searching helped. after the first wash & subsequent drying with 3 tennis balls - The result was very demoralizing & frustrating!! I kind of thought my down jacket is gone & I'll not be able to use it anymore!! But I did not lose complete hope & searched for any helpful input online. I found some tips which were very helpful. The jacket was not dry after initial recommended drying. I let it air dry overnight & then again put it in the dryer with 3 tennis balls. This time when it came out it was well dry & fluffy and I got my Down Jacket back!! I washed a few more after and followed the same procedure, air dry overnight after the initial machine dry. then again put it in the dryer with tennis balls (i used three, came in a single pack) - result was great every time. This is a much-recommended product but you need to have patient to get the benefits!! It may need more time to dry that projected on the package instructions.
