Smart Retirement Planning
I started listening to The Power of Zero through my library app and quickly realized this book was filled with insights I hadn’t considered before. I ended up purchasing a physical copy because it’s the kind of book you want to read with a highlighter in hand. The book goes well beyond the simple idea of lowering your taxes. In fact, one of the most surprising takeaways is that having all your retirement income be non-taxable isn’t necessarily ideal. The author explains why a balanced, strategic approach to tax-free income—especially in light of future tax rates—can be much more effective. Whether you’re just starting your retirement planning or already retired, this book offers a clear and actionable roadmap to help protect your savings from avoidable tax burdens. I highly recommend it to anyone serious about long-term financial health!

Zeroing In on Retirement Riches: A Review of 'The Power of Zero' and the LIRP Lifeline
I found the book, The Power of Zero, to be a quick and informative read. The book introduces the concept of the LIRP, which was new to me. LIRP stands for Life Insurance Retirement Plan. This financial strategy involves a permanent life insurance policy that accumulates cash value that can be used to help fund your retirement. The book is geared towards mid to lower-tax bracket individuals. However, I wish the author had given more examples for people in the highest tax bracket. Despite this, I think the book offers valuable insights into tax planning and retirement savings. However, I'm not sure that people in the highest tax bracket can take full advantage of this system. Overall, I think it's a worthwhile read for anyone looking to learn more about their retirement options and tax planning strategies.

Clearly explained taxes in retirement
This book clearly explains the tax consequences of anyone's retirement portfolio and ways to get to a 0 tax retirement. What you know about saving for retirement is probably wrong and is an example of outliving our money when we are the most vulnerable. Finally, someone in the average person's corner. I wish that I had read this years ago
