Amazon Fresh, Extra Long Asparagus, 15 Oz

We all know that the TEXTURE of canned veggies is always gonna be a problem, but I have to say that while of course these are very soft, they have a really good flavor! Not only that, but the price is so reasonable. They're extremely low i calories, I blend them in my Nutribullet with low sodium chicken broth and get a creamy asparagus soup with no cream needed. Less than 50 calories too! They managed to keep the flavor pretty good for a canned veggie.

I’m surprised the asparagus was perfect for being in dented can. Got no hard wood-like pieces. Plus the shipping was quick compared to the other reviews. I got them in almost a week.

I love FRESH asparagus. This is my first time trying canned asparagus. I bought 2 cans to try it out and see if I like it. Major disappointment. It was very mushy. They boiled it up until it turned to mush and falling apart and the tips had all fallen off and broken apart, but there were still parts that were woody and fibrous and I had to spit it out 3 times. Also it isn’t very flavourful. I recommend only buying a can or two to test it out and see if you like it.

You can't beat the price and just as good as name brand so good👍👍👍👍👍

Very good taste, but unappealingly mushy. It's amazing that these stand up in the can but that's probably because they're up against others. These would probably be just fine in a recipe.

I’ve bought this asparagus 4 times. It takes *forever* to arrive. They may be growing it when ordered, or something, but wow, it took 2 months to get the first order. When it arrived, every can was dented. Like, major warfare-type dented. It won’t last long enough to worry about the dents, but it is a thought. (Every order after has been beat all to hell, too)The price is great, so when it arrived, I was curious to see how it compared with another brand. I opened a can of this and a can from Hannaford’s. There’s a lot of difference. This brand wasn’t as green, wasn’t as firm, not as long as the store brand. I made a casserole with it and once cooked, you couldn’t tell a difference.There are some strict limits on how many you can order. I suppose it’s because with the cost so low some people like to hoard. But I just put it on subscription so I get a few cans here and there. It’s a healthy vegetable, easy to cook and put in recipes. I don’t think you could go wrong by buying it, if you aren’t expecting to get it in time for a holiday meal, and you don’t mind it being in a vegetable war on the way.

As good as name brand. I was very impressed and also a monthly subscriber for every month.
