Awesome keyboard for the price and aesthetic
Some points *MOST mechanical keyboards are good for gaming, so if you're asking that question: yes, it games. *The Outemu White "Silent" switches are quite audible, which was fine by me as the actual sound is very satisfyingly thunky to me. Spacebar sounds even thunkier than the rest of the keys which used to bother me but has since grown on me. *I have spilled juice on it already and have used the hot-swappable capabilities of the switches to clean up, which was nice until I ruined two of them by putting the switches in the wrong way, so be mindful of this. I am, at the time of writing, able to find a 20-pack of these switches here on Amazon for around $15, or around $6 for 10 via goblintechkeys.com I will also note that the switches are now stained red with juice, which bothers me, and is no one else's problem. *This thing has so many color patterns for RGB (17 total) but not a single one of my keys has any transparency for backlight capabilities. easily fixed with new keycaps that I will probably not end up investing in. The patterns themselves are pretty cool. *NO extra cover provided for the top of the board in case you want to transport it without the original box, which I tend to do because now every other keyboard feels like I'm typing on a school computer from 2009. That being said, having used an even longer keyboard with a num-pad before the XVX, I was excited to see that even with the box being a good amount larger than the board itself due to extra parts and cushioning it STILL fits relatively comfortably in my standard Adidas backpack. *The software this comes with to modify RGB patterns, macros, and the GIF that displays on the little screen, was originally written in Chinese, I had to find the language setting to change it. Easy enough. However, this software is not beginner-friendly at all, to the point that I don't even use it, which does not impede the functionality of the keyboard itself. It would be nice to change the loop on the screen but quite frankly I like the anime girl typing in the corner so I don't mind it. *This is the coolest keyboard I've ever owned, really lives up to that retro aesthetic to the point that my older friends and family are frequently pleasantly surprised that I'm using it. I'm super satisfied with the functionality and build quality of this board. Would recommend other XVX products if the quality extends across all of their inventory.

Very Modular, especially when swapping switches.
This keyboard is quite good. Retro with some modern flare. Everything's great although I have some issues. Some solvable others not (for now). My immediate problem were the switches actuated way to easily, I like to rest my hands on the keys, and I would find myself frequently actuating keys I didn't think I even pressed. Luckily I had a set of switches that I replaced the switches with. The actuation is much better and even quieter now. I love that they made the keyboard so modular that I could switch the keys without soldering. Literally took me longer to find the keycaps I was placing then pulling and replacing the switches, amazing design! I use this keyboard on both mac and windows and the mode switching works flawlessly. I do wish that you could assign profiles, so that if could detect that you are connecting via Bluetooth vs. dongle you could tell the keyboard which OS to work with. The keys although there are keys for mac,I think it would have been cool if the mac keys came in the retro colors. Or that there were the retro colors with both mac and windows icons/text. For example the command symbol and alt text on the same key. The app to modify the settings currently doesn't work on mac? Honestly if it weren't for how modular the keyboard was I would probably say 4 stars. But the modularity is awesome.

Mac users, software not compatible
Mac users please read. Bad: Customization software is Windows only. Meaning you can't change out the gif that plays on the screen. Note that the included cable is USB c to USB a, and the dongle is also USB a, so if you have a newer Mac you might not even have the right port so make sure you have a doc, hub, adapter or spare cable. I used a spare USB c to USB c cable and it worked and charged the board fine. The knob is completely smooth so slips a bit when turning. Good: Solid keycaps and the included colored caps are great and there is also caps specific to Mac. Extremely easy to mod, I swapped with the switches with Gazzew boba ut4 and it feels amazing and is very quiet. The stock switches (Womier POM Beige) are linear and fine but louder than I like and I prefer tactile. They do have a light diffuser built in so the RGB from the board shines through plenty bright under the keys. Note the keys are not shine through. The board is heavy, heavier than some aluminum boards ive owned so it definitely doesn't move around on you. Plenty of dampening foam inside and the plastic case helps keep the sound lower pitched compared to aluminum. Overall a great board, However, you can find the exact same keyboard from a different brand on Amazon for around 20 bucks cheaper but it's wired only. These companies all use the same Chinese manufacturers.

Retro looks and quality without breaking the bank
I wanted a retro style keyboard to go with my iMac. I shopped around and bought this one. It has great settings that allow you to adjust the colors of the back-lighting that shows up as you type. The keyboard allows hot-keys and I bought a key tester so that I could decide which style of key sound I wanted. When I used the keyboard for the first time, it felt and sounded amazing and exactly like I wanted it to. I wound up not ordering different keys. It feels substantial and well build. It has battery life, which I don’t generally use. I prefer the cable that came with the keyboard, which was fabric wrapped and felt premium. The price was much lower than the $125+ keyboards I was looking at. This Wormier keyboard is fantastic value for money.
