Great Hot Tub for the Money
We have owned large self contained hot tubs in the past, and most recently tried the inflatable Coleman/SaluSpa types.I was looking for an "in between" system, and after considerable research, decided to take a chance on the AquaRest AR-300. It is absolutely perfect for our needs. Great hardshell body and jets are the real deal--not the tiny bubbles at your feet stuff. Great delivery experience, and with a little site prep/leveling, pretty much plug and play from there. Looking forward to a long relaxing time with it.

Back rest is rough but fixable.
It's awesome, the only thing I'd say is the back rests are to rough. The thing is solid enough I will just sand them down. It's like 220 grit sandpaper. Need that on the seat or you will be blown off it. Also, know there is a long left seat and a short right seat. The left seat is lower.

Good hot tub, poor quality cover
I have had this hot tub for 8 months. I love the hot tub. It was easy to move, doesnโt cost a lot to buy or operate, and the jets are adequate. My biggest complaint is about the flimsy cover. The Styrofoam inside is not supported by any stronger material, and mine is already cracked. This resulted in a sagging cover. I contacted the company but they would not help.

PLEASE READ THIS
I purchased this Spa just 18 months ago. After just 14 months, (2 months off warranty) the Balboa topside controller failed. Easy repair but $133 for the part.4 months later, the main jet controller came completely apart (see picture). The part was available but this was a difficult repair as all 12 jets had to be cut and re-glued in a very tight space.
