This really is a great little watch for the price. Casio watches aren't exactly top notch fancy timepieces made to catch the eye, but I personally think that's what's great about it. No gimmicks or bulk, just a watch that does what it's made for, and does so beautifully. It passes the standard authenticity check of holding down the bottom right button until "CASIo" appears on the screen, and doesn't show any signs I can see of being a dupe or fake. The backlight doesn't really do much, but in a pinch (e.g. complete darkness) it'll help you see the watch face enough to know the time. You can actually get third-party modifications done to get a better backlight if you'd like, but of course that's not included with the standard watch itself. The watch can do standard 12hr and 24hr time cycles, has an alarm (which can also just beep once every hour instead of going off at a set time), a stopwatch (which resets once it goes past 1 hour due to the limits of the display), and keeps time quite well so far. I've only noticed a fraction of a second delay, which could have just been user error. It also makes it quite easy to reset just the seconds by cycling through the mode screen, then pressing the right button on the main watch screen, so fixing it if it does drift is a breeze. The watch strap is good for what it is, not anything like a super solid high quality metal strap, but what you'd expect from a flexible watch strap. It doesn't feel like it'll easily scratch, rip, or expand, but also feels flexible enough to hold itself comfortably on your wrist. I've already dropped it multiple times, with no signs of any issues, so I'd say that counts towards its claims on durability too. If you just want a watch that works, won't die on you the second you drop it, and has simple creature comforts like an alarm and stopwatch, this is hard to beat, especially for the price, and massive market for third-party modifications that Casio watches are practically known for at this point. If you want, you can seemingly get anything from a better backlight to an inverted color/sparkly screen. Heck, you can even 3D print custom replacement cases and bands for it if you want! To sum that all up, if you need a watch, and you don't want anything flashy, get this watch. It'll do more than keep time, and even if you were to lose or break it tomorrow, the cost of a replacement or repair is a drop in the bucket.

Classic style Bold choice

This is a cute little pristine white teensy brick of a Casio. It will go with everything that needs a pure, blindingly white accessory on the wrist. Unlike most Casios: grim appliances that do a lot, but most of which were styled in the 1970s. This elicits the most delighted eek per buck I have ever witnessed. I need to get on the stick and get this one set up for my wife before we go to Florida.

Excellent watch, I bought the white one as a gift for someone. The backlight visibility in the dark is slightly better than reviews and youtube videos make it out to be, you can make out what time it is and shouldn't be much of a concern unless you live in a cave. For people wondering if the the watch is too small, measure your wrist and digital watches are fashionably intended to be smaller on the wrist. It looks good on any size wrist. If you are carrying extra weight, expect the band to sit on one of the end holes with this model. Not worried about water resistance as I've seen people swim, dive, wear this watch for years - common sense with every watch is don't press the buttons underwater.

I was happy to add this to my modest watch collection. I really like it a lot. I wasn't expecting it to be super high quality and that was part of why I was interested. The band feels a little more plastic than rubber but that is the only negative I can come up with. Very comfortable and lightweight. Slim, sleek design. It's also inexpensive so I don't need to worry about bumping into things. Exactly what I wanted.

If you have an interest in horology, the study of time pieces, or need a watch or “impact” statement as my wife calls it, this is a really great watch. It’s not fancy, in fact, this watch is stupid simple. The Casio F91 has a special place with timekeeping as there is a rich history with this particular model (literally google it). If you want a cheap watch or if you value a timekeeping tool this is the essential watch. If you were looking for a smartwatch, or something more stylish, this is not it. It is at its purest form, pure functionality.
