Smells like HEAVEN if you want to smell nice and it makes your skin sooooo soft! It really gets rid of the dead skin and you can still smell the scent after you get out of the shower. This is my second time buying it!

If you are up there a bit in age like me, you'll remember the old face scrubs that used ground up nut shells to exfoliate, and how abrasive they were on the skin. I decided to try this scrub as I'm always on the hunt for a really good body scrub, but I was worried that with it using seeds to exfoliate, it would be overly harsh like the old-school face scrubs (I am used to more traditional body scrubs that use salt or sugar to exfoliate). I was also worried it would be super greasy as it includes shea butter.My concerns were unfounded. The exfoliant is pretty much a micro-scrub, very finely ground. So it's actually gentle on the skin, but still nicely effective. The formula is thick (making it easy to use) but not particularly greasy - it rinses/washes off nicely. The formula itself is, in my opinion, a 5-star formula. However, the scent is, well, it's not really pomegranate, at least not the nice pomegranate scent I've enjoyed from other pomegranate body care products. It's "off" in a way I don't quite know how to describe, maybe a little too chemical of a scent? So for that reason overall I'm giving this a 4-star rating.
