I have never had gel nails before and rarely had my nails done at a salon. Typically I paint my own nails for special occasions knowing they will be chipped within 6 hours. My nails just never have held polish. I decided to try gel nails after I received a LED nail light. I bought this set and a color. Man o man it went on easily and flawlessly. I gave it 60 seconds on the base coat to get mostly dry but still a little tacky. I applied my color, cured it for 90 seconds, and then added the top coat and ended up having to cure it for 90 seconds. But when I was done, my nails looked beautiful and glossy. I was even more surprised that they stayed in that beautiful flawless condition for 9 whole days before one nail got a chip. Removal was kind of a pain. First I had to rough up the surface with a file and then I had to soak my nails in pure acetone for 20 minutes before I could easily scrape it off. Once off I buffed my nails and applied vitamin E oil and they looked just like they did prior to the gel nail. The whole removal process took about an hour. I have continued to put the oil on a few times a day and will do so for for several days just to give them time to breath and gain moisture after having to use the pure acetone. Overall, I am very pleased with the ease of application and with the longevity of the polish.

This peelable base coat works exactly as described - almost too well! It is designed for temporary wear, and it delivers precisely that. If longevity is what you want, you would probably want a non-peelable base coat/top coat. This product is more for those who want to change nail designs/looks frequently. Using this product under gel polish, you will get up to 3 or 4 days wear. If you use this product under nail tips and nail glue, you will probably get 1-2 days wear max. A lot of reviewers found their peelable base coat to be dried out or clumpy upon arrival. Mine was not. It arrived with the correct consistency of nail polish. It also has little to no odor. It does NOT require UV curing. It air dries. And it dries quickly (less than 2 minutes). It goes on thin (if you apply it normally) so I used 2 coats (took less than 5 minutes for both coats to dry). Because the surface is a little shiny, I applied 1 thin coat of matte gel top coat (UV cured) on the peel off base coat before using nail glue to attach the acrylic full cover tips. They adhered quickly and securely, albeit for a short period of time! I create a lot of custom acrylic nail sets and I have been looking for a way to change my nails frequently with no damage to my natural nails, and no damage to the acrylics. This definitely delivers! The longest I have been able to keep a set on with this base gel (using acrylic full cover tips with nail glue) is about 36 hours (especially if you get them wet). I should mention I did NO prep to my natural nails before applying. Perhaps if I had, the base coat might have lasted longer (I will test that theory next). They come off perfectly - no damage to either natural or acrylic nails - and with little effort. So if you want to change nail designs frequently with no damage to your natural nails (or acrylic nails if you use them), this is for you! If you want long-term wear from gel polish or glued-on tips, this may not be your play. But for its intent and purpose, this product works as promised. I would recommend this product to those who like to change their nail designs frequently!

Bought this for a top coat on semi-cured gel wraps. Works as I hoped. Easy to use, decent price, clear, didn't yellow or turn hazy. Worked for about 10 days on the wraps.

HORRIBLE! Just as all the bad reviews said, it comes clumpy and unusable. My bottle was like seperated jelly! I should have listened to the reviews!

For the price I think the top and base coat polishes are great! The base coat is a little bit thicker and tackier, which allows the color to stick well; and the top coat leave a very nice glossy finish that I love. I will say though, when placing the top coat under the lamp there is a small ‘sting’ effect on the nails, but it wears off in a few seconds. I used the SunUV/LED lamp, along with Modelones polishes as well. I can’t attest to the longevity of the polish which is why I gave it overall 4 stars, but I’ve worn it for one hectic errand day and have absolutely no chipping so far. I have washed my hands several times and nothing unusual has happened with the polish (no peeling or lifting). Of course, I followed all the preparations for applying the nail polish accordingly. All in all, Excellent buy and I would definitely recommend for beginners.

This product is great if you don’t wanna damage your nails when doing gel manicures. I’m trying to let my nail bed heal from the excessive amount of damage I’ve done to it from just regular base gel. The peel off base is definitely a lot more delicate. It peels off easily. There’s no smell and it dries quickly. If you want it to last long, prep the nail as usual but only apply the peel off base in the middle of your nail. Try to avoid applying it on the edges and tips as it may not last as long. This is also good if you have a habit of peeling your gel manicures off.

I purchased this peal off gel base coat because I wanted the option to change my nail color more often without ruining my nails. This peal off gel base coat works, but it comes off to fast - therefore the 3 star rating - In my experience, it only lasted a day, sometimes less depending on how many times I washed my hands. It is nice if you want to try on colors or designs because they just come off. I would have liked it better if it lasted at least 3 to 5 days, but it doesn't.

I've been doing gel polish and poly gel for nearly 2 years now and have tried many base and top coats and this is definitely the best I've used. It lasts ages on the nails and the bottle Make sure you keep the top of the bottle clean this stops the seal from failing and any leakage then! Definitely a fab product base coat stays nice and tacky so the colour adheres properly

These are amazing! They make my nail varnish last a whole lot longer and the shine is amazing. I use a regular nail polish, but adding the uv top and base coat makes it look like I got my nails done in a professional nail salon. I completely recommend these!

Base coat was tacky and didn't cure that well, top coat was lovely and has a really good shine. Both though are really easy to apply and good value for money.
