I was supplied this CD player after buying one of the other Monodeal CD players which I was massively impressed with but even then it is rare that I review anything that is supplied to me free. In this case I have made an exception for two main reasons firstly, I was sure this would be a great product and secondly Amazon customers should be aware that this is a stunning player at this price point.The player itself is well featured which includes colour display, speakers, Bluetooth and the ability to use a memory card. All the features are clear in the product description, what is not clear is the sound and this player produces. At this price point the sound is exceptional and can be modified to personal requirements thanks the the multi levels of EQ. Bluetooth works like a dream and with some decent (not necessarily expensive) headphones, can again supply a rich bodied sound. The build quality is apparent straight from the box with all the buttons being well placed and providing a definite feed back when pressed.Any one in the market for a great all round CD player should have this at the top of their list.

Brilliant portable CD player, sound very good and easy to operate. Mainly bought it to play in the car but very portable for using around the house and outside.Very well made, loads of useful features and great value for money.Would definitely recommend this CD player.

Bought this to play CD's in the car. As most new cars, no longer have them . Worked great both with FM & via Bluetooth . Simple. Looks nice, ok a stand alone player with its internal speakers . Buy with confidence

Comes with wired in ear headphones, and a wire connector for external speakers if necessary as well as the charger. It can also connect via Bluetooth to headphones and speakers. There are built in speakers which are ok but could be better, hence the 4 stars. You can also adjust the sound through a basic graphic equaliser which offers choices of Rock, Pop, Jazz, Folk etc, which is useful. The device itself is sturdy and portable and easy to use. Battery life has been around 10 hours. Finally, if you register the lifetime warranty they send you a free bag to keep everything in.

It is without doubt true that vinyl, books and CDs are all staging a come-back.It is also true that car manufacturers seem not to have noticed this latter fact. In reality, they seem fixated with packing their products with unwanted technology and then penny-pinching when it comes to providing a CD player.For most people specifying an optional one is not an option. The cost is prohibitive and delivery times are already ridiculously long. As a result most people have to live with what their chosen car comes with, whether new or used.Another option is to buy a specific car CD player. Although similar in price to portable CD players, their size and bulk doesn't appeal to me.The Monodeal Portable CD player is to me the best of the options available. Sound quality through the machine's speakers is exceptionally good, but far better to effortlessly link it to the car's speakers (a 2023 VW Golf). Of course the player is also great for listening at home or out and about through the earbuds provided. Much better though through mid-priced headphones.Everything else is simplicity itself. The display is exceptionally clear alongside the easy-to-use controls.Playing time is very good and charging quick and simple.The only niggle is that it's impossible to change discs without stopping. But that's not what it is designed for and is a small price to pay for an effective solution to the problem.This model, although higher-priced is definitely an improvement on previous models, which themselves were very good indeed.

Unit is very good, the FM connectivity is partially helpful, allowing you to quickly and simply use in older vehicles, the display is nice and clear and sound quality good, only small let down is lack of USB connectivity but overall a good unit and excellent value for money.

For the money the build and functionality is good. Alas the sound is terrible with a distinctly audible background hiss through bluetooth headphones and reasonable quality plugged in headphones (Sony MDR-7506). I'm not an audiophile (I wouldn't be buying a product this cheap if I were) but I do listen to classical music and the hiss made it unpleasant. I think it would also be distracting with audio books or anything with quiet sections. It makes me wonder why! I'm trying to replace my 30 year old Sony CD Walkman that sounded better. Every phone I've had has a better DAC in than this thing and didn't cost much more. Surely they can get a better sound quality than this at this price point with modern tech!

Excellent. I bought this player so I could play my CDs in my car which has no CD player but bluetooth connectivity. This player has additional functions which is great with its speaker quality being excellent. You can also move it around whilst it is playing and it does not jump. Linking up to my car's bluetooth was straight forward and it works as stated. Very pleased and recommend this player not just for listening to CDs in the car.
