While I could have purchased larger storage benches, this size fit where I needed it.. We are also using it for our older dog to hop up on to reach the bed. Color option was also what I needed…in other words it is perfect!

Love it but mines came today and it has mold all over it and stinks like it’s been wet sitting for a long time i don’t know if they shipped it like this or this happen during the deliver it came from California I want to keep it but I see there is no more black ones available I’ve reached out to the seller the smell is unbearable had to put it outside to try and air it out

The look of this bench is great. It’s a nice size and the storage capacity is decent. I purchased the 42” bench and pleased with just about everything about it, except the smell. The bench has a terrible musty odor. Currently it is outside, lid open, with a generous amount of baking soda sprinkled inside the bench. Fingers crossed I can get rid of the smell. If I do, it will get a 5 star rating instead of 3!
