When I tell you I've tried every hair mousse on the market, I'm not kidding. This Doux mousse is THE BEST I've ever used in my entire life. I recently did the big chop (not by choice) and was feeling very insecure about my short hair. I realized that after wearing my hair natural for 10 years that the curling creams and butters would not be as effective on my shorter 3b/3c hair. I honestly don't remember when I first bought this mousse or how I became familiar with the brand, but I really appreciate that it's a black-owned brand and the quality is nice and a little goes a long way. I wash my hair once or twice a week in the shower and after I apply leave-in conditioner, I apply a generous portion to my hair and work the mousse through my hair with my fingertips. I brush and style my baby hairs and after about an hour or so of air drying, my hair is absolutely PERFECT. It works well and holds EXTREMELY well! No flaking, no caking, no stickiness, no drying out---It holds well and leaves my curls unbelievably soft and juicy!!! I love that I don't have to reapply the mousse for 2 to 3 days after washing my hair. Usually on the third day I just put mousse around the parameter of my hair and miss my hair with water and work it in and it's still just as beautiful as day one. This mousse leaves my hair so soft, not sticky, hydrated, and really defines my curls. There is no other mousse like this one. I recently made the mistake of buying another brand when I traveled to Vegas because I needed a 4 oz version and I could not find the travel size on Amazon or in stores. I will never make that mistake again. I promptly threw that other mousse in the trash, after it made my hair horribly sticky. I also use the doux gel and omg-- amazing. I am going on another trip this week and I bought a 3 oz foam pump bottle and promptly filled the bottle with doux mousse. Wow I understand it is more expensive than others, it is worth every penny! Love this product on my short naturally curly gray hair. It keeps my curls soft, defined, and shiny without leaving buildup. In the mornings I use it to control, refresh and reshape my curls. Lasts the entire day. Not greasy, smells really nice. It works well whether my hair is dry or wet. After a fresh wash, I use Big Poppa Doux and then finish off with Mousse Def. Ready to go! Shiny natural, bright white defined curls that never dry out, even overnight with no cap on and never leaves a residue on my pillow! I am black and my hair is mostly gray but all is in control with no unruly grays with this product. When in the past I colored my hair, this product worked the same on my curls. Great find for me! Thanks to my granddaughter who recommended it. She has naturally curly hair but it is very long.

Works well on my daughter’s curly hair. Keeps it looking gorgeous with less frizz all day. We bought it again and sign up for the subscription on this fabulous product.

I have curly hair and have tried almost everything on the market but this mousse is the best for me. Holds nice-not stiff or sticky. Works wonderful in humid Florida weather.

A good "one and done" styler. I have hair that is mostly wavy, very curly in the lower layers, and I have some naturally straight pieces around my face. The mixed textures make it hard to style, but this mousse does an okay job. It has decent hold without being too crunchy to scrunch out, and it adds some volume. I have air dried and diffused with this and it works pretty well both ways.

I have 3c hair and this stuff works wonders! It's not too heavy but lasts all day. And it smells great! So glad I gave this a shot.

Great product for my fine hair 2b-2C curls. I used the products at night and let it air dry. This product increased moisture and softness to my curls. I LOVE that it lifted my curls at the root. The picture provided is the following day (after 1st wash) after 8 hours of work.

This product really helps with curling your hair. Only need a little in each area. Leaves hair feeling good!

Mein Holy Grail!!! Nachdem ich mich wirklich nie sonderlich für meine Haare interessiert habe, fing ich vor einigen Monaten an mich mal um die Wellen (2b/2c) zu kümmern. Einige Produkte mittlerweile ausprobiert und ich kann definitiv sagen, dass dies nun “mein” Produkt ist. Mit diesem Schaum (noch leichter als Mousse und ja, es ist ein Schaum und kein Mousse wie es auf der Verpackung steht!) kann ich super gut die Haare refreshen! Etwas nass machen, wenige Pumps des Schaums, einkneten und die Definition ist wieder super! Weiterer Vorteil für feine Haare: Das Produkt selber hat bereits einen leave in conditioner und Hitzeschutz integriert! Die Haare werden also nicht durch das Auftragen mehrerer Produkte beschwert! Produkt ist bereits seit zwei Monaten im Einsatz, sehr ergiebig!

Il est magique ce produit . mes cheveux crépus boucles sans effort et attention ce sont de belles boucles . Pour le réveillon j’ai fait un joli twist out avec cette mousse le 30 décembre et j’ai défais le 31 décembre 😍😍 j’ai adoré et le 1 er janvier j’ai remis la mousse curl et j’ai refais un twist out sur l’ancien twist out sans peigner mes cheveux juste pour rafraîchir les boucles 😃 et le lendemain j’ai défais , devine qu’est ce qui s’est passé ??? Ça rebouclé comme si de rien était et c’était encore mieux ( voir photos du 2 janvier) . En gros je recommande ce produit vas y fonce 🤗 .
