Easy to use! Good item for price. Used item to transfer photos from phone, works very well

It's exactly what it looks like, works well and photo transfer is pretty quick, even in large volumes. I like it and will continue to use it for a while! I also love that they put in the listing how to find it on your phone, that's super helpful adn self-aware.

No complaints about product quality. However, I ordered this adapter to enable viewing of content on usb stick as well as content on an external hard drive. I was able to pull up text based files, but no picture files on usb stick. But nothing from the external hard drive without reformatting the drive. I didn’t realize that the new iPad I’m temporarily using wouldn’t recognize files previously saved using other Microsoft system. Otherwise it works as it should.

This does not work with my older iPad that's stuck with iOS 12. It does work on my newer iPad and iPhone, and I use mostly to download photos from my iPhone to a USB drive which I then plug into my TV for viewing, that and archiving on my laptop. Of course it can work both ways, allowing me to put photos on my phone and iPad from my laptop or Sony camera. I can also put full length movies onto a USB stick and use this adapter to watch those movies on my iPad.

Works like it is supposed to (surprise!). Handy to have.

Received this device today and was eager to download pics from my recent trip to Vietnam. I plugged it into my phone, added the memory stick to the USB port. The memory stick lit up as it initialized so I know it was live. I located the photos on my iPhone 14 and selected 3 as a trial, then followed the directions for downloading them printed on the enclosed card. Nothing happened. I repeated the process several times with the same result. I then tried two other memory sticks with the same result: nothing uploaded. Tried a few other things with no success so perhaps the device itself is bad? I've been working on computers since 1972 so tried everything I know to see if i could get it to work but no dice. Big disappointment. Will return and try another brand...

This adapter is an excellent product for downloading files. Works like a charm with no issues at all. I used it for downloading an audiobook set of 8 DVD’s that I’d copied onto a USB memory card. I then simply plugged the USB into the adapter, and the adapter into my wife’s iPhone’s lightning port. Followed easy instructions included that were kindergarten simple for even a 65 year old! The 1.2GB file was copied within 30 seconds and now she can listen to the audiobook when she’s on a walk via her AirPods. All for just $10? What an amazing piece of technology!
