Q: Can i connect this to my computer and use it as a usb-connected dac?

Yes I did it. You will have to set it on DAC mode first and install the DAC driver, or the driver installer won't find the device if the DAP is not on DAC mode. The driver can be found both in the memory and on AK's website. Hope this helps :D
