The outlet at the side is 1.5"s off the bottom so you can't get all the gas out. Then their relief tube on top opposite the filler area drains out gas if you park on a hill!! So put in an over flow bottle to catch the gasoline!!

Overall it's a nice product for the price. I ordered this for a project and it sat in the box for a few weeks before I installed it. When I opened the box it was just as described and looked like quality craftsmanship. After installing and starting to fill with fuel it began to leak from the bottom. I drained the fuel and removed the fuel tank from the trailer it was mounted to for inspection. Upon inspection I realized the weld on the bottom was never completed. I had already had the product in my custody too long to return.

Good tank for the price so far. I had another 2" rise X 2" tank fill welded to the top of the tank because removing the tank level gauge to fill it makes a diesel mess every time to fill the tank. Also had the end handles welded to the tank because they come only spot welded.

2023 GMC 3500 Duramax- Great tank. Fits good. Gauge size is an odd ball size @ 1.75” NPT. Added more mounting tabs and new spout because of tonneau cover.

Arrived on time and in one piece no damages great product
