This is a lovelt farm play set for the yonger ones. Well made barn and animals which are all brightly coloured and have lovely detail. Would be great as a gift

Poor quality.

We gave the petting zoo to our 2 year old grand-daughter, she is highly inquisitive. The game is short and aimed appropriately at about 2 years old. Matching by touch is a challenge but soon learned, the different colours and textures is interesting. Fortunately the material is limited in the number of options available. Both grand-mother and grand-daughter thought this was fun.

Its very cute.The barn is cute, the animals are cute.Its designed for little hands. Part of the fun is playing with the animals and making the noises. I am very popular with my piggy noise.There are games you can play but that's not been such a hit. Jumping the animals around and having them talk to each other was much better.Its fun and cute

You receive a small little sensory barn which is aimed at small childrenThe idea is the barn animals, you receive 6 (sheep, frog, snake, Pig, Cow and rabbit) is to help tactile awareness, the animals are soft to touch, while the child plays the aim is to develop fine motor skills.As with any sensory toy its hard to say they work, difficult to measure a soft skills, but what you do have is a nice toy which our little nephew loved, he played with them for a fair time, not sure if he learned anything but it was nice to see Luke having fun.

This is a great little set for helping with sensory development, where you spin the wheel and then need to choose the animal that matches the texture. It’s good fun and certainly helps learning. Four stars.

The idea behind this sensory game is a good one - teaching children about finding and identifying items by shape and texture when they can't be seen. This encourages the use of vocabulary related to different kinds of touch experience. Unfortunately, the implementation is not great.I have several criticisms. This only comes with 6 animal shapes. This is quite a small number considering the size and recommended retail price of the toy, and 6 seems a slightly unusual number to select - in terms of early numeracy development 5 or 10 would seem a more coherent number. Secondly, the build quality is not the best - the barn is OK, but the animals and spinner are really very poor quality. The animals are made of fabric stuck to either card or very thin plastic (without peeling them, I can't tell), but don't feel at all durable. A child playing with this set is going to want to play with the animals when they win them. The rabbit I received was all fraying around the edge, whilst the satin on one side of the pig had not been smoothly adhered. This isn't terribly well designed when it comes to storage either. This could have been made as an all in self-storing set, but whilst the animals fit into the barn, the spinner is too big.The barn itself, with the sort of rubbery cover to the hand hole is quite nice, and you could add your own play pieces to extend the play experience, but the rest of this (including the promised 'three different way to play') simply doesn't seem to justify the RRP.

This is a really fun, first game, for older babies and toddlers. It includes a barn, with a textured spinner. You then need to put your hand into the barn and try to find the animal with the same texture. This obviously helps matching skills, co-ordination and concentration.I played this with my grand niece, who loved putting the animals into the barn and taking them out again. I am not quite sure she understood the idea of the spinner, but she could take out an animal and then pointed to the correct texture on the spinner, so she did the game in her own way, which is fine! With older toddlers, this is good to help social skills, such as turn taking, and is a really simple first game.You can extend the play by describing the animals and having to find them, or picking any animal. Great for early learning and much loved by my little grand niece, as well as her older sister.

This is such a cute sensory toy! Both of my girls (3.5 year old and 1.5 year old) love playing with game every day! I love that it is not only teaching my kids about touching and feeling different textures but it is also teaching my girls how to spin and match. It is so much fun watching my girls play together and I also like it is teaching them how to take turns. My only wish was that it included more farm animals (going along with the barn theme). I know so many moms that create their own sensory box with different types of fabric but I think this petting zoo set is so much better and cuter! I think this would be a great gift for even a one year old!

This sounded like the perfect game for my young grands. The first one I received only had the barn. Np bc Amazon sent a replacement. Guess what!? It was empty, too. Sent both back and am sooo disappointed.
