Brilliant for my off grid home. I fill up before bed to wake to fresh drinking water which goes into glass bottles to avoid micro plastics. The water tastes very soft, the design is just like all gravity filters. Make sure you use the metal tap and bin the plastic one.

I had already bought myself 1 & love it.I did have to find an instruction vid on utube from start to finish, because the instructions with just pics might as well have been for a car part.The filter instructions were equally as awful.However I found from watching another vid it came 2nd to berkys when it came to 3rd party indy testing,which is quite impressive.This was for my son & he put it together no problem.SO I BOUGHT THIS 2ND ONE AS A PRESSIE FOR MY SON'S FAMILY & AMAZON's DELIVERY PERSON, WAS NICE ENOUGH TO DUMP IT IN HIS RECYCLING BIN???CLAIM IT WAS IN A SECURE LOCATION?? TAKE A PHOTO, BUT DIDN'T PUT A CARD THROUGH HIS DOOR.SO AMAZON IF YOU ARE READING THIS, YOUR DRIVERS SHOULDN'T BE ASSUMING THAT THE PERSON BUYING IT IS THE PERSON THAT LIVES IN THE HOUSE,IT'S BEING DELIVERED TO.I DON'T CONSIDER A RECYCLING BIN A SECURE LOCATION.

Update- do not buy this! Capacity is no where near what is alleged. The white filters need to be left in a container of filtered water to get all the air out or filtration takes 2-3 days to get 1 litre out. Once the air is out of the white filters in the base, one cannot empty the filtered water from the base container or air gets back in. With that in mind and the space the white filters take up, the true capacity is just under a litre. It 8-12 hours to filter this keeping the top container filled to the brim!

Great idea. Needs improvements. Don't like the fact that filtered water comes out via plastic part, also, neither part gets emptied completely - over 1cm level always stays so extra emptying or more frequent cleaning required. Looking forward to an improved version. Otherwise will be looking for something else later on.

I got three of these and I love the simple design. They're easy to use. These can pack up in a really compact way. The stand is stable. The water tastes great out of this. I'm happy with it.

Sehr gute Wasserqualität, leider ist die Gebrauchsanweisung nicht sehr gut geschrieben, so daß wir lange brauchten, um die Filter richtig einzusetzen und uns den Verschluß des dritten Loch in der Vorrichtung zu erklären. Jetzt, wo wier wissen, wie es geht, kann ich es nur weiter empfehlen.

These are an off brand of Black Berkey filters, and they are a good fit for any of that type of water filter systems. I like these filters, though while I think they are of slightly less quality then the name brand filters I think they are a better deal considering their price point. I would be happy to buy two sets of these instead of one set of name brand filters, as the two sets will last longer. If your looking for a good deal on water filters that work, these are worth looking at.
