I hosted an 80s-themed murder mystery for my nursing home residents, and they really enjoyed it. We dressed up in 80s attire to enhance the atmosphere. The storyline was easy for them to follow. The only complaint was that the print was too small for some to read, but the staff was happy to read it aloud for them.

Now, I love a good 80's theme night. This murder mystery was fun to play with my friends, and obviously we dressed with 80's flair. The price does seem a little high for what you get.

I'm really disappointed I got an already open/played with set. The numbered sheets were already cut and the box was open on arrival, and a couple of the pages have little creases. It's still playable- but I payed $40 for a NEW set. If I wanted it used, I would have saved some money and bought it that way on purpose. I'm using this for my birthday soon, so hopefully nothing is missing that I haven't noticed.

I was trying to plan a fun, family focused birthday for my mom and when looking for a murder mystery game, came across this fun 80s one! My mom loves the 80s and it was so fun for everyone to dress up for the night and have fun with itNone of us had played a murder mystery game before (besides my mom lol), but it was really easy for beginners like myself to figure it out! There are physical and online instructions to follow. And I liked how it’s random so it can be played again with different innocent and guilty people.We had a group of 15 and took us about an hour or so. We did it all the way through, but it did suggest taking a break between acts if you wanted (3 acts). Fun and can’t wait to play with friends as well!

I bought this for my daughter‘s 13th birthday for her to do with friends. They all had a blast. I would recommend running it through with your teen ahead of time if they are playing without you. We had eight people. We purchased an 80s accessory kit for $20 on Amazon and they all had a blast.

I was really surprised when I received this, because it's a very small package. It looks almost like a small mailer envelope. The theme and storyline are fun. Of course, dressing up 80's for this is a blast! This is definitely entertaining for a party or game night with friends. My friends and I have done several murder mystery parties over the years. We liked the storyline, but I feel like the quality of the actual physical product is just ok. My main issue is the $40 price tag on this. I understand that someone had to write it all, but there are games that come with expensive, nice components that are in this price range. This is mainly just paper and some on-line components, and the murder mystery is not very repayable in my opinion. We had fun doing this though, and the best part is everyone dressing up and getting into character.I look at reviews a lot while shopping. I hope this review helps!

I had fun solving the mystery with just my mom and I, as we like the challenge. But, seeing as this is a packet with a bunch of paper inside, I don't feel like $40 is reasonably priced, especially since it doesn't seem to have a lot of re-playability. Paper can only last so long when passed around groups. It would be fun for 1 large group party, I'm sure, but don't expect to get too much out of it afterwards. Bummer

I bought this game to play at a murder mystery themed bday party for my 14 yr old dtr. We had such a great time because people really got into character. The acting alone was superb. The game had everything you needed and I love that you can play it as many times as you want. The only draw back was I would have printed the cards on cardstock paper so it will last longer.
