Rugged phone with super powers!
I'm into day 9 on one charge writing this review. It's a massive phone but I don't mind having 800g in my pocket given it's longevity between charges. The screen is big and no problem with brightness. The back screen is useful for taking selfies and videos using the rear camera and listening to music from the very decent speaker. I have a 512mb memory card installed giving me a TB of space. Lots of great features to help optimise your power usage and restrict apps. The phone runs well and responsive and downloads and installs apps super quick. Has a great AI phone call transcriber that keeps notes of calls. And the dual screen would be useful in face to face translate situations. The camera is not bad an the night vision is super useful not only for photos but just to see in the dark. The antenna is the best of any phone I've had and gets reception in dead spots and 5g in my house and WiFi where I couldn't before. I feel confident cleaning it with a damp cloth and it feels durable and hefty. Connects to my car without issue. Great value for money and outstanding battery life that outweighs the drawback of its size. Might not suit some but definitely a contender for those who want something rugged with endless power.

Ultra Rugged Phone with phenomenal battery life and amazing features.
Absolutely love this phone. I like rugged durable and unique phones and this is my second foray with Ulefone as I had an Armor 12 5G previously, which I had a great experience with, so when I saw the promo video of the Armor 33 Pro, I was hooked. The aesthetic is just so dominant, fantastic screens and great sound from the large speaker. It's quick, responsive and has some amazing extras. The Night Vision camera is brilliant. And the battery life, my first full charge lasted 13 days and was still on 20%. Its a glorious, gorgeous brick and it's mine! :)

Brilliant field PDA/EUD
I’ll start by saying this isn’t being used as a conventional edc phone, I still run an iPhone for that. However this device has been used as a offline field device for emergency preparedness and bush-crafting along with being used along with amateur radio equipment. Battery life is beyond excellent, the large light on the rear is brilliant for short range navagation or used as a umbrella light to light up a room, the night vision camera is decent and I’ve actually used the on board IR lights with my night vision monocular to help with illumination in dark areas. My only gripes with it at this time is the camera focus can take a while and photo quality can be hit and miss however this is not as much of a concern for my use, the main gripe is with the SD card. Ulefone does not allow exfat or NFTS formatting for the SIM card while used as supplemental storage. As such you are limited to a max 4GB file size, as I use kiwix on this device (offline Wikipedia storage and multiple resources) I have to juggle between on board storage for larger files and the SD card for small. The issue here is the large files can be easily in excess of 100GB so I have had to compromise on certain resources so I don’t completely overload the on board storage which is a bummer, if this wasn’t an issue it would give this 6 stars if it was possible For my use case this is a amazing rugged device for field use, having a offline data cache of manuals and resources along with offline mapping data via OsmAnd it’s been brilliant so far in the last month in which it has seen extensive use already here at home and also in the USA [Note: currently there has been issues with other users trying to use the contactless payment via Google pay due to certification issues with Ulefone, if this is a dealbreaker I highly reccomend researching this first to see if this issue has been resolved before purchasing, I believe ATT of this review a patch is beginning to be rolled out] Update @ 20/3/2025: device is still going strong for its use case, oniy addition at this time is attaching a stylus on a lanyard so that I can use the screen while wearing gloves, continuing to recommend the device for the mentioned use cases

That's more like it!
Some months back I bought an Oukitel WP5 - big, strong, big... All was well until I had a problem with the screen. The seller was spot on and I returned it for a refund. Feeling a little 'once bitten' I went for the X7 Pro instead, and while it's early days, I'm really glad I did! Granted it doesn't have the 8000mah battery but nor does it weigh as much. The design is much more hand-friendly - it's like a normal phone in a rugged case. Android 10, runs absolutely fine (with one oddity that I'll get too), it has a genuinely excellent camera and a decent speaker. Easy to set up (like nearly all phones these days) and easy to use. When I opened the bx I was impressed that Ulefone included a screen protector, then I realised that it was a spare screen protector as one was already fitted to the phone. They're plastic, but they'll stave off scratches and Ulefone's video suggests the screen itself is plenty tough. The also include a plastic lever to help you open the SIM /USB/headphone jack slots. Those waterproof plugs are tight, you may be grateful for this! I'm finding this a pleasure to use, face and fingerprint recognition work well and the only "issue" I have had is a certain slowness in properly displaying photos I load directly onto my phone via an OTG cable (camera doesn't have wireless option). I think it's a case of slightly less processing power than might be ideal, but it all gets there in the end. Time will tell if my initial impressions are borne out, but I am really impressed with this phone. The WP5 is an excellent beast, but beast it is; the X7 Pro feels like a much more complete package.

Factory defect from new
This is a very poor quality phone and best avoided, the factory has fitted the thermal image camera upside down and it is impossible to use. Customer service is NONE existent and amazon don't care about it either. This phone is massive and heavy with lots of promise but a huge let down in daily use. I bought it for the thermal camera and it is useless for this. In short AVOID AVOID AVOID unless you want a dumb door stop

I am absolutely blown away by the Ulefone RugKing. For a device at this price point, the feature set, performance, and durability are simply unmatched. This isn't just a phone; it's a versatile tool built to handle anything life throws at it. Indestructible Design, Incredible Battery The IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810G ratings are the real deal. I needed a phone that could survive drops, dust, and water without a second thought, and the RugKing delivers. (Check out the pictures I uploaded—you can really see the reinforced, rugged build!) Paired with the colossal 9600mAh battery, this phone easily lasts for days under heavy use. The 18W fast charging gets you back up quickly, and the OTG function to use it as a power bank is genius for my other gear. Unique Features That Shine The 126dB Bass Speaker is a game-changer for noisy environments—it's unbelievably loud and clear. (The short video I posted demonstrates just how loud this speaker can get!) But the feature I use most is the Built-in 126 Lumens Glare Flashlight on top. It's so bright and convenient, completely eliminating the need for a separate handheld torch during camping or night work. The addition of the uSmart Expansion Connector for an endoscope shows this phone is serious about utility. Performance and Value Running on the latest Android 15 with a generous 16GB RAM and 256GB ROM, multitasking is butter smooth. The 50MP camera takes sharp, vibrant photos, and the ability to use it for underwater photography is an awesome bonus. Plus, having the power of Google Gemini and Ulefone AI Pro built-in adds incredible future-proofing. This is truly the ultimate adventure-ready powerhouse and a must-buy for anyone seeking high-end rugged features without the high-end price tag.

I got this phone as a backup for travel and outdoor use, and I’m really impressed so far. The speaker is crazy loud (like, surprisingly loud), which is perfect for outdoor environments or when I’m on speakerphone. The flashlight is also very bright — definitely good enough for camping or emergency use. Battery life is amazing. It easily lasts two full days with heavy use, and that’s with hotspot and GPS on. The phone feels super solid and durable in the hand, and the design is actually cooler in person. Performance-wise, it’s smooth and quick. No lag when switching apps or using the camera. Plus, I love having all that storage (256GB!) and RAM (16GB) for this price. Great value for what you get!

WORST DEVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED THE Ulefone Puking (Rugking) this device is a flashlight masquerading as a cell phone, a not very brightly designed phone . If your in the market for a flashlight for a five year old this might be the device for that purchase. In my opinion do not waste time or money on the Rugking by Ulefone even your five year old would be insulted by this device as a gift. This is the perfect gag gift for the person who has everything. Ulefone is a failing phone manufacturer, the maker of expensive gag gifts can't be a serious player in the smartphone market. Uefone is a bottom feeding company who's best idea is coming up with catchy names to sell crappy devices to the masses. Don't bother with devices that have Armour king or tank in the device name. Real rugged device manufacturers don't need catchy BS to get your attention to purchase quality but device manufacturers who know nothing about quality do need catchy names to sell us crappy SUBPAR 10 year old tech not suitable for a 5 year old. Please look else where in less your in the market for a SUBPAR $200 flashlight oh yeah it does have a loud speaker just another gimmick to lighten your wallet and leave you bewildered that a team of phone engineers came up with such BS and to think they are passing this stuff off as quality products for who a preschooler. The nerve of some companies. Other people's engineers .enjoy your over priced flashlight Ulefone. Get your heads outta of the puke bucket.

Huh, I’m an iPhone guy for years and years, but this thing is pretty cool. The features are exhaustive and the sound from the speaker is actually really loud and doesn’t sound terrible. I got this for my kids to use as an emergency phone and I love that it’s rugged and has a full android system for them to have any games they want. For the price, this thing is really cool.
