Lovely
Very nice shampoo which I got for my daughter who has a mass of curly hair which can be very difficult to deal with.In use the shampoo is very pleasant and she found it easier to lather up on her thick hair than some other shampoos she has tried. The smell is quite herbally but not overpowering, but still a nice fragrance. My daughter tried leaving her hair to dry naturally without putting any other products on to see how her hair would behave. She found that it bounced back really well even without her usual other products on, and her curls had nice definition.Overall a lovely shampoo, although quite pricey, so wouldn’t use all of the time but now and again for a bit of luxury and pampering.

Leaves no residue, just silky glorious hair.
The first time I use a new shampoo I like to try it without any conditioners so I can see what products it would need to be paired with. The instructions on this one said a small amount to wash away dirt first, then apply more generously for a second lather, for about three minutes. When I washed it off after the second go, my hair had the texture of rubbery straw, so I assumed I'd spend the next few days living with an unmanageable cloud. Putting a brush through it was an ordeal. Took four times longer than normal to comb it out, but after about ten minutes, my hair magically started settling back into place? It was light and SILKY, without being heavy? Usually I have two wait for a day for my curls to reappear after washing, but they're already springing into place and it's only been a few hours. My hair feels super clean, but bouncy and light and NAKED. Like there's zero residue left over from haircare products. Just beautiful healthy hair.

A bit pricey for what it is
I recently tried the Puradoro Curly Control & Healthy Roots Shampoo, which claims to enhance curls, hydrate with argan and jojoba oils, and define natural waves and curls. While it has some redeeming qualities, my experience was mixed.First Impressions: The packaging is appealing and the pump is convenient. However, the scent was a bit underwhelming—it lacks the richness or uniqueness I expected from a product that includes natural oils. It’s not unpleasant, but it definitely doesn’t stand out.Texture and Application: The shampoo has a creamy texture that lathers fairly well, but I found it required more product than I usually use. While it rinsed clean, I felt like I needed to double cleanse to truly get my scalp feeling fresh. Results: Initially, my curls felt softer, but after a few washes, I noticed they lacked definition and were still prone to frizz. While it does provide some hydration, it didn’t quite meet my expectations for curl enhancement. I didn’t notice a significant difference in my curl pattern, which was disappointing.Hydration: Although it claims to hydrate, I found my hair still felt a bit dry after using it. I had to rely on my usual conditioner to compensate for this, which somewhat defeats the purpose of a two-in-one routine.Final Thoughts: Overall, while Puradoro Curly Control & Healthy Roots Shampoo has potential, it didn’t deliver the results I was hoping for. If you have curly or wavy hair, you might want to try a sample first before committing, as it may not provide the level of definition and hydration that other products do. The price point sits with other premium brands and doesn't hold up as well as those in my honest opinion,

Feeling good
This shampoo feels really nice on the hair and has a very pleasant scent. The bottle comes with a handy pop up dispenser cap which saves having to remove (and likely drop) the lid in the shower! I am not convinced as yet that it will completely tame my curls but then that’s likely on me - nothing much does!

There’s a brand called pura d’or. I don’t think this is it?
So it’s a little confusing trying to find out more about this new (in the UK) puradoro brand.Anyway, I like the simple packaging. The bottle does move about a lot as there’s nothing keeping it in place. So just rolls about the package. I like the tamper proof seal.It was £19.71 (£21.90 -10%) at order time. You may need multiple washes to start seeing the effect? So 4/5 for now due to the quality of the shampoo.

Lovely smell
Very lovely smell, great for my curly hair. Interesting opening. Altho it is very pricey for only 200 ml. But nice to use.

Not a match for me, but I think it's worth a shot
I have such mixed feelings about this Puradoro Curly Control & Healthy Roots shampoo. As one on hand, I absolutely love that it's silicone, sulphate, and parabenfree, as well as cruelty-free, which is amazing, but the performance of the shampoo was just underwhelming. I found it really difficult to squeeze out the shampoo due to the thick texture, so I ended up resorting to fully removing the top to access the shampoo into my hand. The shampoo didn't foam up much, and I found it challenging to distribute it through my thick hair, so I ended up having to wash my hair twice to make sure I'd reached all the layers. My hair felt quite dry after using this shampoo, and my hair never feels dry, so the only change to my curl routine was this shampoo. My hair felt so dry the next day that I ended up rewashing it using my usual products. I'm not sure if it would help or be useless trying a conditioner from this brand to see if that would make a difference when paired with one of their shampoos, but it's quite an expensive brand to be purchasing as a trial. The shampoo has a lovely scent, but it doesn't stay on your hair post-wash; this is quite normal with the more natural shampoos, so this is something to be aware of and not necessarily be disappointed about, as the use means it's not full of loads of heavily scented chemicals. It's a great brand with brilliant ethics and a very natural product with your hair and scalp's best interests in mind, but unfortunately it just wasn't a suitable fit for my hair.
