Love This!!
The silicone is Ultra Smooth and excellent feeling in the hand, the open top allows easy touching of the buttons. The case fits the Google remote perfectly. The magnet is strong, extremely sticky (be careful sticking it, it won't come off) it holds the remote great A+

A perfect solution, perfect grip
A perfect solution for your Google TV Remote. It's not really grippy right out of the box but gets that way after a few days and feels real well in the hand.

Fantastic design. Soft comfy in hand. The magnetic feature is brilliant. Magnet is really strong. The remote fits perfectly under the lip of my bedside table upside down. Hold on great. A+ product.

Good case, tie with CaseBot/Fintie case depending on what you value
I owned a CaseBot/Fintie case for my previous gen Google Chromecast w/Google TV remote. I'm also a fan of many Spigen products, so I thought I'd compare them for the Google TV Streamer case. They are very similar. Both silicone. Same holes/cutouts. Very similar fit. The Spigen does color match sliiiiiightly better. But only slightly. The CaseBot doesn't have quite the hint of green in the grey the remote has. But it is reeeeeeeally close. You really don't notice unless you're really inspecting them. The feel is similar, but the shape/contours/cuts obviously make them feel different in your hand. I've never liked how the uncased remote for the new & old Google products has a round bottom. It makes it tricky to push most of the buttons without picking it up and impossible to push the left/right buttons. So, I really like the flat bottom the CaseBot case has. It makes pushing any button easy while it sits on the sofa or table with one finger. The Spigen does have a round bottom, but it does have a 2cm/¾in flat area in the middle. It's not as stable, but it's stable enough to be able to push left/right without picking it up. It feels pretty nice. Has a good fit. I weighed the two cases, removing the magnets & lanyard from this Spigen to make sure it was fair. The CaseBot weighs in at 31g. The Spigen weighs in at 41g. So you do feel how the Spigen is a bit more solid with the extra 32% weight. The Spigen has magnets in the bottom so you can put it on the side of a table or anything. It includes a thin metal plate with adhesive so even if you don't have metal furniture, you can still use the magnets. But you can also remove the magnets. They are just embedded, not sealed in. The Spigen also includes a lanyard and it has two small holes at the back to attach it. You might be able to do the same with the CaseBot, cut the holes and use your own lanyard, but I'd worry about the holes expanding. Aesthetically, I do like the hex pattern on the CaseBot, but it really doesn't do anything functionally. So, it comes down to what is worth what to you. The price difference right now is $7.99 vs $22.99. Is the weight, magnets, & lanyard worth $15 to you? Or save the $15 and have a flatter bottom?

Good case, cheaper alternatives if needed
This is an excellent case for the remote and adds a good amount of weight that feels more solid in the hands. I have a shelf next to the couch, I throw the metal plate on so I can put the remote there if it doesn't get lost in the sofa, but that's what the "find me" button is on the back of the streamer

An almost perfect remote case
I've seen in other reviews that this case is a little large, and it is. When I put it on the remote slipped in too easily. It's not so large that the remote will fall out, it's just not as tight as other remote cases or phone cases I've used. The color does match the remote perfectly and I love that it has a magnet inside. When I'm not using it, I hang it magnetically to the metal hutch above my desk.

Nice cover. But too slippery and fits loose.
Much better than having no cover, and great quality. But still slippery. Should have given it better grip. Made material with a little grit. Also it fits remote but should be a tighter fit. Feel like it will get even looser over time Update I took some light sandpaper ans went over the cover It's a bit better
