This is a very nice growing system! I love mine. Great seed starter with great plant growth! I’m a gardener so I use mine to start seeds I love watching the growing process! A quiet system. Made of good quality materials. Please read and apply instructions. It makes a great gift for yourself or others.

This planter is awesome for a small apartment! I planted these about 1/2 a month ago and they've grown so much and it's such little maintainance. All of my plants have sprouted, I'm growing bell peppers, oregano, thyme, marigolds, tomatoes 🍅 , and carrots 🥕. Super easy to use and it's fun. My parents are thinking about buying one too for their place as it's def worth the investment. The only thing that I initially struggled with how bright the light was but you can press the vegetable/fruit button and it turns off the light without turning off the water system. I haven't had to replace the water either since I got it! Def get this product :) you won't regret it! Oh and the manual is super comprehensive and they have a mini manual too

I’m really happy with this hydroponic growing system. It was very easy to set up — just add water, nutrients, and seeds, and the system does the rest. The LED grow light is bright and adjustable, which helps the plants grow strong even without sunlight. I also like the automatic light cycle and water circulation system. It keeps the water fresh and makes the whole process very low-maintenance. Systems like this allow plants to grow faster indoors because the roots get constant water and nutrients.

I have the 10 planter, and wanted to expand so I purchased 2 of the 12 planter gardens. It’s such a delight and I’ve not had a problem with A Hope Garden planters. I’ve got no reason to try other brands. It’s a plug and play concept, and if you can unbox, open the packets, read directions, and plug the power cord into the unit and wall, you’re on your way to having an indoor garden. I used the 10 planter box for herbs, and these additional planters are going to be used for growing veggies, lettuce, spinach, etc. I’m super excited as the seeds planted 2 days ago are already germinating! For those who think this is hard, no, it’s not. It cleans easily. In terms of it’s compact size, don’t think you need a monster of a unit to get bountiful results. I think it’s no more than a couple feet tall? I dunno. It’s simple.

I planted spinach seeds according to the instructions just before Christmas 2025. Germination was slower than expected for spinach, with signs appearing nearly a month later, despite careful temperature monitoring. Once sprouting began, I added the provided fertilizer and set the grow light to run 16 hours per day. The fertilizer instructions were difficult to understand and required multiple readings. They felt overly complicated and could benefit from clearer wording or a rewrite to help users feel confident they are following the process correctly. One improvement I would suggest is adding a backlight to the water-level window, as it is hard to see the actual level. Overall, this is my first experience with hydroponics, and I am relatively satisfied with the machine so far. I’m hopeful it will result in healthy plants and a successful growing experience.

This was a wonderful way to grow some preferred herbs and lettuce mixes indoors. Easy set up, doesn’t take up a lot of space. Basil really thrived!

I could not be happier with my purchase! It took a little over a month from seed to mouth (started 6/19 and today is 7/23). And this week we got to use cilantro for some tacos and tonight I had my first salad. I might have been a little too mistrusting the seeds would not germinate so I did 4 of each just in case (which is more than recommended). Mixed results as far as that goes... probably had all, some and none germinate but I cannot really blame the none on the product because it clearly works. I tried to grow all the lettuce options, only ones that worked out were the buttercrunch and romaine. Out of the herbs the cilantro, basil and parsley thrived. I did get some others to germinate. Arugula and Kale did germinate but the timing was off so they got fried. Spinach never germinated unfortunately but again, this is no fault to the product. I will say its kind of relieving everything didn't all thrive because it would have probably been overwhelming. I did end up using toilet paper rolls to help support the herbs since they were stringy at first and being pushed to the side by the lettuce. Super happy with this product and great results. I would absolutely recommend this product and I look forward to having some fresh lettuce and herbs in the winter months. I think it was well worth the money and you can restock on pods if need be. It's a great size too. I actually had it on my window sill but realized that was unnecessary so moved it to an area that made more sense. I do love the simplicity of it and I like being able to see the water level.

This system is very easy to use and comes with a small starter kit to get you started (seeds not included). The size is perfect with 12 pod slots and I love the temperature and humidity indicators, it tasks out the guess work. It’s great to have fresh herbs in the winter.

Amazing product, easy to follow the instructions to start your garden, good manual. I love that the air pump is pretty quiet, I had to touch the garden to feel the vibration of the pump so I know is working. I already have some seeds growing and are doing fine, just have patience for them to grow. The nutrient solution is easy to mix just give a good shake to the bottle. Don't forget to move up the light so is not to hot for the leaves. One detail for me is that I would love to have a way to choose at what time can start the 16/8 lights cycle, so in case of accident I don't need to wait to the next day to get the cycle to start at the time I want.

This little machine has been a great addition to our setup at home. It feels well made, works exactly as described, and has been totally reliable so far. Setup only took a few minutes and it has been running smoothly without any hiccups or disconnects.

This is a great product! The kit contains all the materials necessary to start sowing seeds. I truly is perfect for a beginner in hydroponic growing. I planted 12 different herbs the day it arrived and all are now growing and looking healthy. I runs on a timer, the light being 16 hours on and 8 off (approximately). It's economically built - that's a polite way of saying that it has no extra bulk or weight but no extra expense has been put into its construction. It's sort of like saying "cheaply built" but not in a bad way. It is sufficient for purpose, even if not robust. I look forward to harvesting my fresh herbs in the midst of the cold Canadian winter!

It works super well! The pump is really quiet and the instructions are clear. The herbs sprouted in 2 days! It only misses a timer to control how long the lights stay on, but I recommend it anyways.
