Excellent books ...nice if you get them on offer. Can be read in any order ....artwork is excellent . My garndson read it through quite a few times so will be getting some more

I love sonic the hedgehog I play the games too but I wasn't expecting the comics to be THIS good!👍

Now, I should have probably read more carefully. However, due to the lack of intelligence I have, I will say I was thoroughly delighted and dissapointed (both being personal and not in any way about the product quality). When it turned up I had no idea what to expect since this was my first official "Sonic the Hedgehog" comic book that I had purchased. It came in a simple, yet sturdy, amazon letter. I will say that perhaps the dispatchers could wrap the product up in bubble wrap or something else to ensure maximum protection. So, when I opened it up, I thought this was the size for just issue #1. I was thoroughly excited about this and immediately dived in. I shall be keeping all story hidden however I shall say that if you have not played the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, XBOX or PC Version of "Sonic Forces" which was released in the year 2017 in September I believe, you may not fully be able to understand what the plot is about. Or at least that's what I WOULD say. This comic book manages to give the reader a thorough (as a comic book can be) explanation as to what has just happened in terms of canonical story for the Sonic series. So, I read through the first quarter of this comic and eventually figured out that it was a four-part comic book (meaning it contained issues #1 - #4 so it was basically a bundle for the first four comic books). I felt ripped off however I decided to check on the comic itself for any sort of indicator for this and thank goodness IDW stated that it was a bundled issue otherwise I would've become mortal (and being alive for 1600 years that would basically mean instant death like the final section in Mystic Mansion during that trippy three challenge part with- okay i'm rambling). I shall explain nothing else. I have rated this as the applicable rating of 91/100 or 4/5 stars as I believe the only flaw this comic possesses is the packaging it comes in as it has a greater chance of being damaged during transit whereas some comics (like the DC ones) include bubble wrap or some secondary defense again transit damage. For the price, I am immensely satisfied and will be sure to purchase both Volumes #2 and #3 in order to give them a proper review. Congratulations IDW for releasing an outstanding comic series and I look forward to the rest in January and April.

My 5yo was so happy! He read it all over the weekend. Language is easy with some challenging words to expand their vocabulary and the drawings are quite nice too.
