Merrell Mens Speed Strike 2

These Merrell hiking shoes are absolutely fantastic. They are incredibly comfortable, lightweight, and provide excellent stability, making them perfect for long walks and hikes. The breathability is also great, keeping my feet cool even after hours of wear. I got them in size 8.5, and they fit true to size—neither too wide nor too narrow, just the perfect balance for a secure yet comfortable fit. The non-slip sole has excellent grip, providing great traction on various terrains. Plus, they look great—which you can see from the pictures! Merrell has truly perfected the art of making hiking shoes, and this pair is no exception. Highly recommend!

Great fit. Durable, holds black color. Husband wears 11, supportive while hiking.

Very comfortable right out of the box. The mesh is breathable but not flimsy and the toe and heel seem adequately reinforced. I hike a lot of rocky terrain and gravel topped trails and these performed well and gripped well. Good price for he quality.

Can’t go wrong with Merrill! The color contrast is exceptional, the structure is solid, the comfort is incredible, and the price is well worth the purchase. I wear these shoes mainly for nice day-to-day appearance. However, I will be buying this particular shoe once again, for my next hiking shoe purchase. It’s that good!!

Comfortable cushiony and grippy

Wow these are comfy. I wanted dedicated hiking shoes and these caught my eye. Never wore Merrell before, so I rolled the dice. They are stylish, lightweight and true to size. I have a wider foot and almost chose the wide version. I’m glad I didn’t because these have plenty of room. Haven’t tried them hiking yet but I have a good feeling they will do exactly what I need.

There were no reviews when I purchased these, so I felt like it was a gamble. I purchased because 1.) These are the only reasonably priced Merrells I could find in a size 13 and 2.) They were sold and shipped by Amazon, so I was fairly certain they were authentic even though the listing had no reviews. I was initially looking at the Moab 3, but there are not many available in my size.So far they are extremely comfortable. The soles are obviously very grippy. They are well made and look great in my opinion.My boss keeps recommending Merrell as having excellent traction when walking on metal roofs, which is why I got these. We shall see. I'll update the review if my impressions change after some time. For now, however, I am impressed with the comfort and materials. I am sure they would be fantastic shoes for running, walking, hiking, or any outdoor activities.

I'm a women's regular size 8 but wanted a wider toe box. I ordered the men's size 6 and it fit perfectly. It's breathable and the mesh is heavier duty than typical tennis shoe material. I can wear them comfortably in warm or cold weather.
