Quality product but not much discounted price.
VG stands for Very Good !!! :) As always, V Guard maintains it's quality and reliability. I denied Premier made stabilizer which was offered by the seller along with my Voltas 1.5T 3 Star AC and purchased VG400 through Amazon. I ordered the item in night and got it delivered very next day itself. Coming to performance, unlike conventional AC Stabilizers which takes a few minutes to turn output ON, VG400 turns green in less than 5 sec. So you can turn your AC ON quickly. I got this product for Rs 1680 after all discount offers, however when I enquired at nearby local seller he offered me the same item for Rs 1600 without bargaining. So you can imagine the actual selling price. Also, the warranty card doesn't have any stamp or details of the seller and I'm doubtful if it will create any problem while claiming warranty.

Perfect!
One of the best makers of ragualtors and stabilizers, coupled with one of the best online shopping experiences..! what more can I say about my umpteenth tryst with Amazon!simply superb.. keep it up!the product itself requires no much detailing. works brilliantly. perfect for AC's upto 1.5T. I used it with my hitachi split (ace-fm). white-ish in color, glossy finish, no power plug included, as is the case for all such products. wall mountable, and comes with a very handy drill point guide so you don't screw that up!! :PV-Guard VG 400 Voltage Stabilizer (Grey)Edit: I have now purchased the same product four times!! and I guess that clears up how satisfied I am with the product! I happened to read some bad experiences somewhere, so it felt right to update my review. I'm using 2 of them with two identical Carrier Split 1.5T Ace AC's, and the 3rd one with a Godrej 1.5T Split AC, and the fourth with a Napoleon Window AC.Now, The only thing one should take care of while buying a stabilizer/regulator is that the cores used in these are better if made from copper, and more prone to failures if made from aluminium. The reason most of these are so cheap is that they may be using the latter. To users living in places with erratic power supplies, try to ensure the presence of copper cores in the units. For everyone else, this wont fail your normal needs. Also, it is beneficial that their service and support is quite decent, atleast in the capital city.In general, I guess the best way to ensure you have a satisfying experience on Amazon, irrespective of the product, is toa. know exactly what you needb. choose Prime as the seller..

V-Guard the boss of Stabilizers!!
Its completely compatible with my Windows AC 1.5 Ton and most importantly it controls the voltage of the house electricity. Amazing product!!!!I have seen reviews of this product which was negative stating it's shuts down automatically and takes long time to start. The answer is that it is not a fault if this product , but the voltage of the respective houses are not high due to which it shuts down automatically.Easy to install and value for money!!

Nice stabilizer
The media could not be loaded. Very good stabilizer, before go ahead please check the power voltage of your area. It will not work when power is low. It is good for up to 1.5 ton AC.

Very Pathetic
90% of the time it will be in red. After using for 1 year I am writing this review. When ever you switch on the AC it will switch to green light after 2 sec it will change to red. Even in proper voltage also it will not work properly.

Good product. Does it's job.
Pick a stabilizer based on your local voltage range. In most cities, 170 to 270 is a decent range, so this works. If your locality voltage goes below 170 or below 100 go for other stabilizer which should cost you more even on V guard brand. Otherwise it will work for most AC's 1.5 ton. Warrenty of three years is quite neat.
