Bought this set as a gift for my husband as he mentioned he wanted to start trying wood carving. For the low price I wasn't expecting much, but the quality of this kit really impressed us both. The tools are sturdy and there is a nice selection. The leather case is well made. This is a great kit for a beginner wood worker.

First impression: Wow! I haven't had a chance to try out all the tools, but this is a set that will accommodate any kind of wood carving. Good thing that they included the gloves! The roll-up bag is leather and looks to be of good quality. It is open ended, so make sure the tools are in their slots so they don't fall out. I am quite impressed.

Nice complete package especially for some starting to wood carve, the blades were nice and sharpened and appear to sharpen as well as my other knives.

Tools look good. "Leather" carry bag seems to be a thin leather over something else. Although description is accurate, I question the durability of the case and closures. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

This is the best I've ever owned. The smell of the soft leather is wonderful. The tools are crafted very well and I'll be excited to use it tomorrow. It's almost 11 pm and it's taking every bit of restraint on my part not to get my project wood and start tonight. The leather case is perfect for taking my tools on my hikes with the strap over my shoulder. My backyard is my playground from the national forest not to mention my wildlife friends. What a great set of tools that I will enjoy for sure. Great product and they said i would receive it fast and I can absolutely say i received it the day after buying it. That's awesome service.
