I am a Senior Citizen, prone to work late into night, going to bed after all lights are switched off. This means I might unknowingly bump into objects left by others in wrong places such as chairs, cans, or anything of that sort. I needed a pen-type torch which is small, handy, and which I could clip to my clothes so I did not lose them. I ordered this item because of its solid look, small size, and the pen-type clip. I was rewarded more than what I had hoped for. The prices is very reasonable, the built is solid, and it needs only one AAA battery. It clips easily into my shirt or pocket. The bulb is LED so the brightness is good. The front glass is actually a convex lens that gives a good focused circle of light. Not too big, but not too small. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone who needs such a small torch. I have a similar torch but it is not LED so I have abandoned it in favor of this one where LED gives more bright light. NOTE: The battery needs to be inserted (from the top that opens up) with its anode (pointed side) towards the bottom. Else the torch will not lit up. This instruction is there on the torch cover.

Don't expect a very good quality or output. These are made to a cost, and works similarly. Cheap stuff

THERE IS NO BRIGHT LIGHT AS MENTIONED . IT IS JUST A DIM LIGHT, EVEN LESS THAN A CANDLE LIGHT. WASTE OF MONEY. REQUESTED FOR RETURN AND REFUND THEY DONT REPLY. BEST LUCK, IF YOU ORDER THIS CRAP.

Impeccable quality! I've been using it for more than a year now, and it works just great! So many times it fell, got under the water - and nothing happens to it, works like new. Not even a rust. No need to change the battery often. One button operation, very handy. Great one!
