Does an excellent job keeping the water warm overnight, losing only a few degrees. The bubbles are smaller than on other solar blanket covers, seemingly less likely to crack and peel off, and provide less bulk and a smaller circumference when the blanket is wrapped up on the solar blanket reel. The 16 mil feels sturdy and is easy to wind up on the reel cover without fear of tearing. The 12 mil blankets I previously purchased only lasted 1 to 2 years if I was lucky. Hoping to get a few more years out of this one. Great price.

Cover works great. It is now almost through 2 summers, and looks like it might make a 3rd. Most of the other covers I have used break down after 1 season. It does not warm the water as fast as some others I have used, but works well enough to keep my water at a nice 85 degrees.

I hope this holds up as good as it appears. Heavy, nice, can’t wait for opening and summer!

I decided to stop buying the cheapest cover as they never make it a year and only average 6 months. They start to tear and I get the pool skimmer full of little blue pieces of plastic.This unit is so obviously more thick and durable that I will be amazed it I don't get multiple seasons out of it. I will try to update this post when it does become useless. However, 2 months in and going great.***Update*** 5 months later and it is holding together great, but......As you can see from the image there is always some water on top of the cover. Which means the sun is heating up that water first and evaporating. Soooo, it's not doing great at keeping the water warm and slowing down evaporation. Really had my fingers crossed for this cover.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Pulled this out of the box and right then I was happy was very strong and thick should definitely hold up better than the last two that I’ve purchased in two years, time will tell salt water is hard on solar covers in my opinion

The solar cover is very hard to roll up on the reel, the cover has no give in it, I will never buy again. I can not roll the cover up on the reel I would have returned it but I cut cover because my pool was smaller the 40 ft wide. I going to order another cover, this is junk. If I can not roll it up and take it of the pool I have a problem.
