A very clever, very flexible, very useful grip.
Neewer calls this a "Bluetooth Shutter Handle". I call it very clever and useful. It comes to hand very naturally and feels good. The grip is substantial and fills my hand. The Bluetooth shutter button falls just past the first joint of my index finger, which works well for tripping the shutter button. The fit feels good overall. There are two spring-loaded clamps on the grip. One can be used with your phone and Neewer suggests the other can be used to mount an SSD. I have a 1 TB SSD and as soon as I can, I will try mounting it along with a low RAM iPhone 14. You can also use the second clamp for mounting a second phone. There are three cold shoes for mounting mics, lights or whatever. The horizontal bar that carries the cameras can be raised or lowered within about a two inch range. An L wrench for making the adjustment is accessible from the bottom of the handle.Instructions in a too small to read without a strong magnifier typeface are supplied, but no cable to charge the internal 100mAh battery for the Bluetooth shutter. My only misgiving is that you have to be careful holding the left side of the phone to avoid putting a finger over the lens. On the other hand, the grip can be used with one-hand.Jerry

Works well, easy to connect to phone, feels like a first gen product
So I did what people probably want to know, and no you can't remote trigger at least a Canon camera with it :( I was hoping to use this as a remote grip for a cage or a gimbal :).For this device itself the remote works great and was extremely easy to pair with a Samsung phone. It pretty much is connect to the device, load up photo/video and when you press the button it starts or stops the recording. The device itself is nice if somewhat one arm biased. The phone and hard drive mount points are nice and you aren't limited to using a hard drive there, you can also attach a portable power bank, or anything else that fits there including a portable monitor if you want. I attached a sample image of mounting a small monitor to the front so your subject can see themselves while the camera is using the better camera on them. While the product is nice, this feels like a first gen iteration of it. There's somethings going for it like some accessory mounts, but it feels like Neewer can do more. It would be nice to lock down your clamping on the phone and hard drive, all it is right now is grip and spring tension and that could possibly weaken over time. A lock would be nice. Also you are pretty much only able to rotate the camera and battery holder, and are not able to move them horizontally or vertically on the stem they are on. It would be nice if they somehow had a way you can attach another grip to it so it doesn't force it to be a one hand device. Which btw you can change this from a right hand to a left hand device,I really like this product and I look forward to Neewer upgrading their gimbal/cage grips to be able to start and stop my Sony and Canon cameras with a device just like this one.

Works great, easy to setup on Iphone 15 pro max
The Neewer Bluetooth Side Handle Shutter Release is a versatile tool for mobile photographers. It connects seamlessly with both iOS and Android devices and provides a sturdy grip for stable shots. The cold shoes are handy for attaching additional accessories. Battery life is decent, but the rechargeable battery is a convenient touch. Great for improving mobile photography.

Comfortable Grip, Working Shutter
Amazing how far smartphone cameras have come. If you like taking photos with your smartphone but prefer the feel of taking photos with a camera (especially the shutter position), this is the perfect solution. It grips your phone securely and the bluetooth shutter works perfectly. It's not something you would carry in your pocket and use for occasional shots but something you would use in a studio or photography session. I especially like that the shutter is rechargeable as other shutters I've used before (ones that come with selfie sticks) use some odd coin cell battery that aren't easy to find. It's also nice that you can add a SSD or compact power bank on the handle. The grip is non-slip as well.

Excellent iPhone ProRes Rig
I can't remember the last Neewer product that was a disappointment and this bit of kit is not one either. This rig provides an excellent solution if you plan to shoot ProRes with your iPhone 15 Pro (Max). ProRes files can get large and using an external SSD to capture those files is mandatory IMO. The clamp for the SSD holds my Samsung T9 with ease, the clamp for the iPhone holds the iPhone with a case with ease, and the hand grip with remote shutter function makes taking shots, EASY! This little rig has no less than 3 cold shoe mounts for lights, microphone, and any other accessory you can attach via cold shoe. So why not 5 stars? When I tested this with my iPhone the remote shutter worked fine with the base Apple Camera app and the Blackmagic Cam app but it DID NOT WORK with the new Apple Final Cut Camera app. I am hoping this is a temporary setback and that Apple will be able to fix this. Overall I love this rig and it is certainly a 5-star product if you don't care about the Apple Final Cut Camera app.

This is a pretty useful clamp to help with shooting video on my phone.
I shoot some video with my phone when I am posting things online, so decided to order this clamp because I liked that it has a bluetooth connection to start and stop my recording with a button on the handle. It connected easily and was easy to use. I also like how they include another clamp so you can plug in an SSD as well if needed. Very thoughtful and useful. It is well made and works well, so I will be getting a lot of use out of this side handle.
