Nice SATA Drive Docking Station
It works well, and I like the fact that the case is made of aluminum which eliminates cracking or warping. The compact size requires only a small amount of desktop/shelf space. The low price makes it very affordable for home use on a limited budget. It will take some time to know how durable it is, but it has been sitting on my desk for abut two weeks with two 3.5" drives running 24/7 and doing read/write activity when I'm at the computer. I have not tried the direct, disk to disk cloning yet, but I don't foresee any problems with that.

Dual-Bay Docking station makes it easy to recover data
I really like this device. It makes it super easy to recover data once thought lost. I have many old dead PCs and laptops that were a hassle to monkey with the hard drives to get the data off, but this makes it super easy to just plop the drive into one of the bays and either clone, or pull up on a pc and view and pull off what i want, format, etc! Saves a ton of time and I have found stuff i haven't seen in years! Saved work I thought long lost. I like that it has multiple bays for file transfer between. I like the USB-A and USB-C, however I recieved a USB-C power error, which i haven't looked into yet. The 3.5 drive is a bit wobbly as one of the ones i have fits smaller than the bay, I have yet to try a 2.5. File transfer is swift! I would recommend this as it is simple, fast, and works exactly as you expected!

Does Everything I want
I have been using this for about a week and have been super happy with it. I'm able to use for drives I have laying around to see what was on them quickly. It also has an offline drive clone feature. I didn't have anything I could test it on, such as a working OS. But I'm sure it can carbon copy basic files and personal documents without a problem. I went through the manual and found it was easy to understand and had the specs I normally would be looking for. It was in proper English, and likely the other languages it comes in are proper as well. It's built with Aluminum and, I believe, power coated. It looks and feels nice. The on/off button have a nice click to it. All in all, I'm happy with it. For basic data transfering, it does the job well!

Surprisingly well made and inexpensive
Quiet, plug-n-play, no fuss, no muss. I’d buy again especially if they offered a 4-bay dock.

Great for what it is; high performance and passes SMART information!
I've used a bunch of external hard drive adapters, and there's a common problem with many of them: they don't pass SMART data back. If you're just plugging in a device for a few hours, it's no big deal, but if you want to use another hard drive for a long term, especially if you're a Linux user, you'll want to be able to get SMART information from your drive to monitor its health. Many sata-to-usb adapters don't pass this through. This one does. The device shows up as 174c:235c ASMedia Technology Inc., and supports UAS, which gives better performance than the legacy usb-storage driver. The chip theoretically supports 6Gbps but the device is USB 3.0, so it's limited to 5Gbps. None of this matters if you're using a mechanical hard disk, but I was easily able to push 250MB/s through the adapter. That's good enough. One downside; I don't believe this device supports hot swapping, so you'll want to power it off before switching drives. I wrote to support twice to ask, but didn't really get an answer. I don't think they understood what I meant; one response spoke about ejecting (i.e., unmounting) the disk before removing it (duh!) and the other told me that I can leave the power on because it'll automatically go into a low power state. That's great, but not at all what I asked. Oh well. Edit: it does not support hot swap. One possible downside; you might think that leaving the drives open to the air will keep them cool. It will, but a DAS with a built in fan will do better. In a room with ambient temperatures of 26C, a single drive in this docking station hit 52C under load, whereas my DAS stays below 45. That's not dangerously high, it's just more than an enclosure with a fan. The actual device is reasonably sturdy; the flexible plastic that folds to fit both 2.5" and 3.5" drives feels thin but not flimsy. It's not like it has to be particularly tough in any case. I'm quite satisfied with this unit.

Great Product!
Having kept every hard drive from all the old PCs that I threw away. I finally have a product that allows me to move the data onto one large external drive. I had no idea this product existed. I can now access all my work over the last 10 years. I've drilled through 12 old hard drives once everything was moved over. I can finally get rid of them. The docking station was easy to set up. It doesn't take up much space, and it looks good.

Complete plug and play
Put in an SSS and an old HD, connected to W11 PC and both showed up instantly.. The same for connecting to a rPi5, disks accessible and with fast transfers. Have not used the clone feature, my use was to mount drives from Previous systems on my newer devices.
