I had been toying with the idea of a robot vacuum for a while and really wanted one that could mop well to keep on top of our hard floors.We have had this for 2 months now and I am really happy with it.First of all, it does take longer than if you did it yourself - but that is the key, it’s not you that is doing it! I set this to go every morning when I start work and when I come downstairs for lunch the floors are clean!In the afternoon, I then bring this upstairs to hoover the carpets with the office door shut, and again it does a great job. It takes a while to finish, but again it’s not me moving around with a hoover!Finally in the evening, I open the living room door (we have carpet in here, but keep the door shut so the cats can’t wreck the furniture) and set the robot to work again.When I first got this I tried to schedule everything at once, but realised actually it’s better to space it out over a day as otherwise it would need time to recharge; plus doing it this way allows the mop pads time to dry so it’s not trying to vacuum with wet pads (it does lift them anyway, but still…)The results are not always perfect and I do tend to go around the hard floors with a steam mop at weekends, but with 2 dogs and 3 cats this has made a massive difference in keeping on top of paw prints and general cleanliness, particularly on the hard floors.On the negative, this has unfortunately rolled through some dried dog urine when I have been away from home in the office, but all the parts are removable and I had spares so was able to replace those and clean the rest.I have noted other reviews about gremlins after a certain period of use, though they don’t mention if they follow the advice the app gives about cleaning/replacing parts of the robot/base station. I have kept on top of these religiously and not had an issue so far. My heart sank when I thought the dirty water was not being drained at the base and leaving a puddle, but this turned out to be because I hadn’t removed a part underneath the mop pad cleaners, and once rectified this resolved this issue straight away.My only suggestion for improvement would be a scouring pad, but that is only because we have textured hard floors.The app gives so much functionality, and whenever I think “I wish it could do that”, usually I find something new on the app that I hadn’t noticed to do exactly that!There is now a gen2 of this item which is the same price - given my experience with gen1 I would happily recommend this as it really has made life easier :)

As a mature person wasn't too sure about investing in an AI robot vac/mop. Seemed a lot of money for a possible gimmick. After over a year or so of thinking and deliberating I took the plunge and went for it. I did a lot of research on youtube prior to settling on the Dreame L10. What a great choice. I've had this wonder machine for about 1 week now and I'm still amazed daily at how it works in general. It's thorough to the extreme and our home has never looked so clean or smelt so fresh. So here are some tips to perhaps solve a few questions and to allay any robot fears readers might have.1. it's a big box that arrives and ideally the unpacking should be tackled by 2 people. I did it on my own...with a bit of a struggle.2. looks quality and is. very well made all over. doesn't look cheap - far from it.3. ideally you need an out of the way place for it to sit permanently. the robot will need space to release itself and get around the whole cleaning area.4. like all instructions they do not tell you everything you need to know. the youtube videos were a lot more help and made more sense.5. so follow the instructions to click the bits into where they should be - that was easy to do.6. follow the instructions to add the detergent bottle and fill up the water tank. that was easy to do.7. download the dreame app to your phone. take some time to get used to what is on this. if need be watch some more videos.8. then it became a little trickier. what is mapping? the instructions do not explain this.9. don't panic. mapping is basically what the robot needs to know about your home or intended cleaning area. the simplest way of doing this is to clear your floors as much as possible. leave all of your door rooms open. after doing this - for the 1st time of using - change the cleaning mode to - vac only. press start and off goes the robot. or as my witty husband says 'there goes Robert'.10. the mapping can be added to or changed at any time. or a zone can be selected instead of a full clean. easy way to set a zone would be to close the door on a room as opposed to mapping.11. multi level mapping can be undertaken for up and downstairs. needless to mention you do have to carry the robot to a different level - it's not smart enough to climb stairs. not yet anyway.12. the robot returns to the base when the mop heads are dirty and then cleans them before setting off again.13. similar applies to the dust filter area that sits in the robot - when it fills up it will return to base and empy the dirt into the dust bag sitting in the base. its as automatic as it could be.14. sit back and make a cup of tea. let the robot take the stress out of cleaning - it's brilliant.15. Performance - 10 out of 10. Cleaning result - 10 out of 10. Design - 10 out of 10.16. Finally. get into the habit of cleaning the base and parts of the robot after each use. this will ensure that it continues to work tip top. watch some videos to understand what needs cleaning regularly.Absolutely delighted with 'Robert' the robot and he doesn't give you any back chat, unlike some cleaners we've employed in the past. The price is exceptional for what it does and is more than comparable with top cordless vacs that do not mop.We are total robot converts now and look forward to viewing what is released in the future. As older people these clever robots will allow us to remain in our own home for many more years than would have been possible. Once the basics are understood it is a straightforward machine to operate.Hope you find the review helpful.

I love this vacuum. When you first get it, you follow it and watch the camera constantly. You can put a can of drink on it and drive it into another room, then use the speaker to talk to the person. I've had a few vacuums. Some are a bit dumb, some are smart, but none as smart as this one. I'm struggling with the Alexa integration, though. I would take a star off, but it deserves six stars anyway. Some features would be amazing if they could still add to the software, and that would be adding a room back that was missed or queue tasks. They already added the ability to clean an extra room on the fly. Doing all of this by voice would be good with a breakdown of what's left to do. But I'm trying to perfect perfection, it's point and go. Due to the obstacle detection, I should note this vacuum gets stuck less than any I've had before it.

Great Vacuum That Does The Best Vacuuming & Mopping With Objects Detection & Well Thought App But Garbage Company Behind It! The box came in damaged so that is disappointing and when I tried contacting the support and customer service of DREAME prior to purchasing their product for the Middle East they just couldn’t care less and simply ignored me, but did my research and found out their products are great unlike their before and after purchase services.
