Cooks great and easy to use
This is a great air fryer/oven. I had a Cusinart and it was great, but wanted something a bit bigger to fit larger pans. This works great, and I like the different rack levels and it is very, very easy to use. It does get hot, but it is an oven and it is a bit louder, but not crazy loud. I had the Ninja small product that folds back originally and loved it but it was shallow. Ninja makes great products, I have the Ninja Kitchen system blender/food processor, excellent.

Love this little oven
I went Carnivore some time ago and this little over is the BEST thing I have ever purchased. It does EVERYTHING. The menu is on the handle of the oven which I think is brilliant. It has very simple buttons that allow you to scroll through temp, time, and how you want to cook, bake, airfry, dehydrate, toast, etc...The light lights the entire over and stays on for a good long time making it nice if you are baking something you want to keep an eye on. It cooks FAST-often takes less time than various food packages state for airfryers/ovens. I have not had anything burn yet-and if you are a fan of making homemade hotwings or drumsticks, this little oven is great for that. It is big-but big in a compact good way. There is a lot of space inside this oven and it comes with two racks, a fryer basket, pan/roasting tray-I don't use the non stick pans it came with as I don't trust non-stick coating in general and I purchased other pans on amazon to use with it. There are some great stainless steel pans and pizza pans available that work just fine, like Deedro 12x10x1 baking sheets w/racks and Deedro 10 inch pizza pans. I have used a standard loaf pan, 8x10 pan, and a 9x13 pan inside it just fine. The menu on the handle tells you which level to cook on based on your selections and inside the oven on the right, the level numbers are impressed in the metal for reference. I DO recommend you clean it as you use it-don't let anything build up. Also, make sure you have enough counter space with a bit of a gap in the back, as this oven vents from behind. I have not used the included meat/temp probe yet, but have had great results all around. Love it.

Excellent product
This isn't my first Ninja tabletop oven so I am a big fan of its versatility, multi function and excellent product quality. However the oven is quite big for a tabletop so ensure you have the depth and height clearance.

Preheat is only a warm-up and you CAN bake WITHOUT the fan
Preheat function, rack positions, baking without convection (yes you can), etc 1...the FIRST thing you should do is line the crumb tray with foil or a silicone oven liner to make clean-up easier. I cut down a larger sheet of oven liner to fit and weighted it down with a couple of old butter knives that will now live there for the life of the oven. 2...clean it after each use. This could mean a quick wipe-down OR a "roll up your sleeves and get in there!" kind of clean. In other words, don't leave anything to get baked on the NEXT time you use the oven! The space in which you're cooking is small and those splatters don't have very far to go to hit the walls, bottom, and the top of the inside and, when baked on by repeated use, can turn out to be a PAIN to clean!!! 3...understand that this Ninja's "Preheat" function is NOT a true preheat, but more of a "knock the chill off the oven" function. To preheat prior to baking, place the grate in your desired position (see#4), add an additional 10 - 15 minutes to the time, and slap a good oven thermometer on the grate...when it hits the temp, allow an additional 3 - 5 minutes for the temp to stabilize, remove it, adjust your time, and get to cooking. 4...suggested rack positions are simply that...suggestions. For example, the suggested rack position for "bake" is #3, and that might be fine if you're baking a tray of cookies or something that's no thicker than a sheet pan, but if you're baking sandwich bread in a loaf pan or anything with a lot of height, the top will brown FAR too quickly as it's VERY close the the top elements. Drop the rack to #4 (bottom-most position) for a sandwich bread that will rise well above the pan...#3 is best for something with little-to-no spring like a lot of "quick breads". Either way, place the loaf pan in the middle of the rack so that the bottom elements are not directly underneath the pan and have a piece of foil ready to tent the top of the loaf once it's the shade of brown you're looking for. 5...speaking of "baking", as I don't use convection when I bake ("bake", as in breads/cookies, etc), not having the ability to disengage the fan almost stopped me from buying this unit, but I decided to go ahead and give it a shot anyway (I'm old, but not too old to adapt and change!). Fortunately, you CAN bake without having to use the fan...use the "Reheat" function (no fan!) as the time/temp adjusts the same as the bake function. I baked a 4x4x13 loaf using the reheat function and it came out perfectly by rotating once halfway through the bake and tenting the top once it got as brown as I wanted. Bottom line, consider WHAT it is you're baking and WHERE it needs to be placed in the oven for optimal, even heat distribution REGARDLESS of whether you use the fan or not. Keep an eye on it and adjust accordingly. 6...I don't air-fry often, so keep that in mind here (wink). I AF'd country-fried frozen beef patties, beer-battered frozen fish filets, and onion rings with no issues. What I've found is a great use for this AF (so far) is reheating/reCRISPING breaded leftovers and cold pizza (it does an EXCELLENT job on those!). As for pizza, I haven't tried cooking a hand-made pizza in it yet (never cared for frozen pizza), but it's on my list. I ordered a 10" cast iron comal to use as a "pizza stone" (cooking for one here) and it just arrived yesterday, so that's gonna happen this weekend. Anyway, so far, so good. I hope this long and rather wordy review/tips helps. I'm not sure if I can "update" a review at a later date, but if I can, I'll do so. Now crank that puppy up and get to cooking! :) UPDATE - after 6 months of use it's still cooking great...VERY pleased with this oven! Had to grab a "handle-less" CI skillet so I could make my cornbread (it's a southern thing!) and I haven't gotten around to baking a homemade pizza yet, but I HAVE "embraced" using convection...LOL!

Easy to follow all options. Great visibility while cooking and ease of reading directions on handle
So many choices and yet uncomplicated. Directions straightforward does a fabulous job on air fry, reheating, and baking . I just got it 3 days ago and love it already. Always Ninja fan but this is a wonderful addition to kitchen living in SW Fl like to keep kitchen cooler and not use conventional oven as much. This Ninja fits the bill. Recipe book gives great ideas and again very concise and easy to follow. My biggest compliment is FINALLY an appliance easy to read if I don’t have glasses handy!

Works as advertised. Hassle free air frying! Great value!
Very easy to use. The learning curve on this is very shallow. Everything you need comes in the box. It toasts bagels to perfection, in my humble opion. Cooking a Prime Rib roast couldn't be easier with the built-in thermometer. Chicken wings, juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. Love the air-fryer basket. Looking forward to another Prime Rib roast this Christmas. Very pleased. Great value.

Our main oven stopped working, and when we were faced with the decision of replacing it, especially in the current pandemic climate, we were a bit stuck on what to do. Should we brave going out into an appliance store to look at a new full size oven? Then go through the process of having the new full size oven delivered into our home? We decided against this and looked into a temporary solution that would tide us over for potentially the next 6 months to a year, and here enter the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Air Fry Digital Countertop Convection Oven! We have been using the oven for about a month at this point, and this product has completely exceeded our expectations! It literally pre-heats in under 1 minute to temperatures around 425 F, which easily is 5 to potentially 10 times faster than our full size oven when it was working optimally! That alone cuts down considerably on cooking and prep times when it’s come to family meals! The size of the countertop oven is also incredible, obviously being not as large as a full size oven, but more than adequate for every meal we have been cooking over the past month for our family of 3! It’s also incredibly easy and intuitive to use, my 3 year old loves to help push the buttons to commence cooking, and if we let him know the Mode, Cooking Temp and Time, even he knows how to get everything started and cooking every time successfully (always with our supervision of course)! I’ve read some of the negative reviews, and I can state that yes, the oven fan does make noise, but it is hardly enough to be considered “too noisy”. It’s not silent or super quiet, but it’s definitely no louder than a normal microwave. Also, some negative reviews have stated the oven is difficult to clean due to the design of the heating elements. I can understand this if food splatter or crumbs build up at the bottom of the oven, but after a month of use, we have not had very much mess result from our cooking, but I’m sure with more use we will encounter some cleaning challenges. We actually just use one of the provided cooking pans placed on the bottom rack for any items we cook directly on the third rack, and this has been able to catch any falling food debris keeping the bottom quite clean. In this way, I feel much of the criticisms can either be easily overcome, or aren’t as bad as some of the more negative focused reviews are making it sound. Overall, this product is becoming one of our most essential and most used kitten items in our household, which says a lot of an item we were only initially looking to purchase to temporarily substitute for our full size oven. To be honest, we’re now only using our full size oven for its stove top, which still works, and we may just continue to use the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Air Fry Digital Countertop Convection oven as our primary family home oven for the foreseeable future! Even when we get the option to replace our full size oven, which to our family, says a whole lot about the quality and genuine worth of this product! So highly recommended, and I’m also now very excited to look at other Ninja Foodi products to add to our kitchen collection!
