Works with Local Tuya on Home Assistant
It worked for me using the Local Tuya integration on Home Assistant. It shows up as the XM-HE201. The sensor provides identifies the Distance to the target, and duration since last detection. It also provides an illumination sensor and binary Presence sensor. You can adjust the Sensitivity and Range as well as the Delay on the PIR sensor. This sensor can be used to trigger very quickly upon leaving a room.I recently picked up this and another radar motion sensor. This was the better of the two. The other one didn't provide the full set of data in the app and I couldn't get it to connect to Home Assistant. I recommend this sensor if you're looking for a motion sensor to trigger other smart devices in your home using Home Assistant.

Home Assistant = Yes, Local Operation = No
It most certainly does NOT require a monthly subscription as one reviewer is trying to claim. I used them all free through the Tuya Smart Life app. However, it is not a great sensor. The right idea with a PIR motion sensor included that can also be turned off individually, just a poor implementation i guess. Must be a cheap presence sensor module. I bought 6 and used 4 of them that always experienced false detections or no detections when there should have been. I will say though that the PIR motion sensor was decent, not the fastest reaction time but not terrible either. Separate range/sensitivity for the two sensors would have been better. It freezes up for a minute or two at times for no reason that I can see. Also, I had to turn off the PIR motion sensor when trying to detect presence at the full range of 600cm otherwise the sensor would just lock up till I turned motion off. I let these sensors sit for a couple days hoping the would acclimate to their surroundings, but they just didn't.As I stated in the headline, this sensor does not run locally...they DO require the internet no matter what. They are a real pain to load into HA as well. You have to load every attribute manually once you determine what does what and even then you cant control all of them in HA. It did work with ZHA without issue. For whatever that's worth. Still returning all of them though.

Okay
The sensor works really well, but I tried integrating it with Home Assistant with another pair of lights and it doesn’t work that well. I do like it though because it is at a fairly good price and is small.

Crap-Don’t waste your money.
It’s a piece of crap. Can’t use it without paying for a monthly subscription!!!!

Works with devices in Tuya or smartlife apps
It was easy to add the device in the app and I could read the detection of me in the room or leaving the room. So it has some robustness there. Plus the ability to power on from the back or side. I know this is not alexa enabled but thought setting up the scenes etc with this would be easier. I dont normally use tuya or smartlife for my scenes and routines so it was a bit cumbersome for me especially since I have IOT devices across many apps.

Super Interesting / Better than a motion detector
I was curious about the differences between this device and a motion detector. After testing it for about a week, I've come to appreciate its unique features. Unlike motion detectors that often trigger false alarms from pets or moving branches, this human sensor is more reliable. It combines multiple sensors to detect human presence accurately within a specific range, around three meters. It's ideal for ensuring someone is in the room when needed.

Don’t get the sensor it doesn’t set off anything
The media could not be loaded. It doesn’t connect to Alexa and serves no purpose beyond tell you how many motions you had. It sits in the smart life app with no tool available
