Fit wasn't right for me
PLEASE SEE MY UPDATE BELOW. I was excited to get these shoes after reading so many good reviews and recommendations, but unfortunately they are not for me. In all fairness, I've never worn Hokas, which many people compared them to, so they may not be right for me either. I thought the fit was very funky. I measured my foot. I usually wear an 11 in an athletic shoe, and I really needed a 10.5 in these, but they didn't have the half size. My foot is medium width, and they feel large and wide and bulky. They do have great cushion. I wanted these to work because I have plantar fasciitis and I've spent a fortune on walking shoes. Because of the price, I'm keeping them, but I can't do any serious walking in them.UPDATE: I am updating my rating from 2 stars to 5 because of the customer service for these shoes. After posting this review as 2 stars, I was contacted by the seller who offered to give me a full refund since I was not satisfied with the shoes. I told them I was keeping the shoes as I had worn them outside to test them for walking and they were not like new. They insisted on refunding my money and even wanted to send me a different pair to try. I have never received such attentive customer service! Do not be afraid to try these shoes! Even though the fit wasn't right for me, you can be assured that they will make it right, and swiftly!

True to size, great for low volume - no heel-slipping!
My foot measures (on one of those metal foot measuring things at shoe stores) right in between an 8-8.5 C width. I bought these in an 8.5 and it fits perfect in length and width. I have plantar fasciitis, so I have to use my own arch support inserts. The insoles they came with don't have much arch support, but that is typical these days bc it makes the shoe more customizable for different feet.I also have low-volume feet and my heel slips out of shoes bc the ankles are too loose/don't lace high enough to hold me in. These are PERFECT! ZERO SLIPPING!!! It has literally been YEARS since I've found a shoe that holds my foot in.One thing that took a few days to break in/get used to is the upward curve of the toes. I'm not used to that and I had pressure on my toenail beds from it (my toes don't touch the front of the shoe, so it's not too short in length, but if pressure from under is pushed upward it has a similar effect bc it pushes the bottom of your toes into your nails, which are hard.). But once the shoe was broken in, the issue/pressure went away. I suspect a lot of the people who think these are too narrow in the toes are actually experiencing the upward curve of the toebox.I switched out the laces for locklaces bc I hate tying my shoes.... I'm on my feet 8-13 hours a day (hospital worker), so as the day progresses the laces need to be adjusted/loosened and the locklaces make this quick and easy.

Very Comfortable & True to Size
The shoes arrived in a clean cardboard box that looked as new as if it had just been pulled from a shoe store shelf. There were inserts to maintain their shape. The shoe ties were long enough to ensure a comfortable fit for my instep, arch, and sole, which tend to be painful. The toe box is roomier than my shoes from a couple of well-known, more expensive brands, and they’re true to size. They’re well-cushioned, light for their style & size, and felt supportive without being hard. So far, so good. We’ll see how they feel in a few months, but my bet is on their lasting well. Two small cons: the insole in one shoe came loose & attempted to follow my foot out of the shoe. The colors in the men’s line were more what I would have liked, especially the apricot shade.

Comparing Norti V8 with Hoka Clifton 8
On first impression....These feel comfortable, very similar to Hoka's. They aren't quite the quality of a Hoka but close enough when you consider the cost difference (I could buy 3 pair of these for the price of 1 pair of Hoka's). Visually, they do look a little clunkier than Hoka's due to the heal being thicker & the toe width being wider. I tried wearing a Hoka on one foot and the Norti V8 on the other & I stand taller on the Norti V8 foot. I do like the sleeker look of the Hoka but overall, I'm glad I bought these and I'm looking forward to seeing if they wear well.

These are an AMAZING dupe for H@kas & waaay cheaper.
I am SUPER picky about my walking, running or hiking shoes because I have foot issues—mainly due to Morton’s Neuroma. I need a wide toe bed a cushioned insole and a supportive shoe. I usually purchase Altras for hiking and Hokas for walking or low key hikes. But both brands are $$$. I liked the look of these shoes & the reviews were impressive as well. Plus you cannot beat the price. As soon as I put the shoes on they fit like a glove. Nothing rubbing on my ankles or anywhere. Felt very cushioned & light, supportive AND my toes did not feel squished. The true test: they felt amazing even after wearing for a few hours. No pinching in my toes or my feet feeling strained. My only quip is I wish the outsole/midsole was a dark color vs white due to our red clay dirt and also just a little more traction for going off road. But they are advertised as walking shoes not trail runners or hiking shoes. Still, I’d rate them a 10/10.

WALKING ON CLOUDS
When I read the other reviews that said these were like walking on clouds, I was skeptical. It sounded too good to be true. When I opened these, I squished the insole with my finger and I was disappointed because it didn’t seem very soft. When I put the shoes on, everything changed! I have never worn shoes with this much cushion before!! My ONLY disappointment is that they’re a little bulky and I have to get used to walking down stairs without hitting the back of the shoe on the stairs. Worth a little bulk for this level of comfort. In comparison to Hokas… I like these more. Hokas make me feel like I’m leaning backwards and it doesn’t feel great on my knees. No heel slippage is a huge plus! And sizing is spot on. Overall, I’m very happy with these.
