Good journeys with thick paper, leather outer feels very luxurious. Colours are a nice touch.

Great quality books

These have got to be about some of the best journals I have ever used! I can’t say enough good things. They’re so thoughtful and well made. They get the basics right and then some thoughtful additions that even big brands like Moleskin don’t even do. 1. Super good looking and feeling. I don’t like cheap stuff, these feel good. Not going to be some luxury product though, genuinely feel really good in the hand. 2. The paper is way better than almost any other notebook I’ve used in the past. I’m writing with a fountain pen and it’s a dream. It feels buttery to write on, the pages are great quality, the ink doesn’t bleed through (like on Moleskin) and no feathering or anything happens, it’s just crisp lines from my fountain pen (doesn’t apply if you use regular ballpoint pens). 3. Pen holder on the side is a huge bonus. 4. Bookmark to easily find your page. 5. This price is ridiculous. Essentially 2 for the price of one and I don’t feel like I’m making any compromises. I’m really excited to write in these for years to come. I might just buy like 20 and either give them out as gifts and/ or keep them for after these run out. Terrific work, super happy with these! Even the next best competitor on Amazon at the time of writing these is double the price and no pen holder, same quality of paper so. This is a big winner for me!

Ich liebe die Notizbücher. Nicht zu dick und gute Papierqualität. Nutze sie privat wie beruflich. Ich bestelle sie immer wieder gern. Hätte ich einen Wunsch frei wäre es gut, wen man auch die zweier Pakete in einer Farbe bekommt. :)

These are very nice journals. After receiving them, I immediately placed another order for my granddaughter.

These are nice notebooks with a couple of well-thought-out extra features: a pocket in the back for keeping a few loose papers, a loop to hold a pen, an elastic band to keep the notebook from flopping open in transit, a ribbon to mark your place and a small package of tabs you can stick on the pages to make an index. The paper is relatively smooth and thick — it’s just a little bit coarser than some other notebooks I’ve ordered, but nice overall. At the top of each page there’s a line for the date. The writing lines themselves are composed of tiny dots (I do prefer a solid line, but it's not a deal-breaker). And it lies flat for writing. The manufacturer advertises this as a leather binding. When I used the water drop test (water is supposed to absorb into leather and bead up on vinyl), the cover did indeed absorb water. But it looks too perfect to be leather. There’s a little bit of padding behind the cover, which also makes it feel un-leather-like. On the other hand, the cover material is stitched, which implies leather. It’s a mystery that I can't solve. But they’re nice notebooks, at a good price.
