Updating to 5 stars for their customer service. They are very good about standing behind their product. Will order another one and see if it is any better.After 3 months of use maybe twice a week, the hinge actually broke off. The box had stopped connecting to the app already. There is no way to contact the seller and the support window closes also so no help from vendor I feel. I might look elsewhere.

We purchased this Lockin Home lockbox to securely store keys for our rental aircraft at the airport. The box arrived undamaged and was very simple to unpack and prepare for installation. It took me only about 5 minutes to mount the box to the wall and another 1-2 minutes to set up the app and program my access codes.The Lockin Home app has a user-friendly interface that allows us to set multiple different passcodes, both temporary and permanent. However, it's important to note that you must be within Bluetooth range of the box to connect and program it, limiting remote programming options.After a month of use, we're very pleased with the lockbox. It has performed flawlessly and exactly as described.

A year after installation, neither of my two units will pair with bluetooth. One unit will not open despite 84% battery charge or with an alternate battery source applied. Tech support is a real disappointment and certainly not helpful. They continue to ask for the serial number and will not respond as to where to find it. I will have to rip the box out of the wall and hope I can find someway to open it. Sadly it is very well constructed and tech support has not answered whether there is another way to open it. There does not appear to be a key mechanism to open the lock. So I may not be able to recover the contents of the box.(Update)Customer service has contacted me and shown me how to get into the box. After following the instructions, I was able to get into the box and then detach it from the wall. I was offered a replacement box or refund and I opted for the refund. I still have another box at another property which so far continues to work. Although I am grateful to customer service for the help and refund, I cannot upgrade the star rating as the product could not be made to work.(Update)The second unit will no longer open with any valid code. App shows the battery is 81% charged, but lock will not open. Looks like I will need to open the box as previously instructed to access my contents. Sure hope I get a refund on this one as well.The only things I would put in these boxes are things I don't want to see again.

Setting up this electronic lock was a breeze, and the app proved to be user-friendly. What sets it apart is the ability to set temporary passwords for specific users, unlike other models we tested. We opted for this lock because of its impressive features and great value for money. While it might not be the most robust option out there, it gets the job done. Just remember to consider its placement carefully, and keep in mind that if someone's determined to steal it, they'll find a way, regardless of the price tag.

This lockbox is really useful. I like the app feature that allows you to generate codes for limited time frames (we did this with contractors working on our home -- it made things very simple and easy). It is fairly sturdy and I like the beeping noises it makes. It works well and does the trick. Setup was super quick and easy! The app makes it easy to lock and unlock the box when you're close to it. I also like the safety feature where the app won't allow the box to have the code reset unless you release it from the app.The only thing I find frustrating is the fact that it's only accessible to view the log of the device/do anything via the app when you're near it with the app open. You cant do much with the box if you aren't physically close to it. Now, that might just be a limitation of the device and maybe I missed that somewhere but, for the price, I thought it would also be accessible remotely. I think the app could be reworked in a way that is more user friendly as well - sometimes I just feel like I'm clicking through a hundred menus to get to what I want and that there just aren't enough settings to make a lot of the extra clicks worth it. It would also be cool to have the option to toggle military time/12hr format for the log itself.Overall, it is a really good and sturdy product with some tech flaws that could use improvement. I read other reviews and hesitated to buy it; however, I'm glad I purchased it and gave it the time of day! Can't speak to the weatherproof-ness of the product because it is sandwiched between a regular door and a glass door (so it's not exposed to elements).

Any real estate investor or agent should get one of these. It has so many different functionalities. It allows you to unlock with your phone through the app or with a master passcode which you can change at any time. You can also set additional passcodes to give to your contractors or for people when selling your house (must be near lock to do this). You can have that passcode only work during certain hours and on certain days. You can also generate a one time use password from wherever you are. This thing does not use wifi so my guess is that it has preprogrammed one time use passcodes which will not work after being punched in. You can also see an activity log of who’s been using it (time, date, which passcode, etc.) through the app when you are near it. This can be mounted onto the wall or hung on a door handle. Overall this is a great product for anyone in the real estate business including Airbnb. It looks very aesthetically pleasing and modern looking, giving it a professional look to your business.
