Great cd/dvd rw player! Easy set up, takes up little space on at my computer area and so far the dvd player is working awesome. Great buy and value for the money spent.

Great product. My husband sits at his computer all day. He listens to streaming music; however, he also has many music CD's which he loves, however, they are housed in an attractive case across the room. I purchased this for him for Christmas so that he can listen to his CD's while at his desk. (Note: I also purchased disc holders for his desk). He has a desk top computer, so we plugged it into a USB port on his tower, and it worked immediately. I am so please with this product and most important so is my husband.

A little hard to figure out the first time, but is working great. Tried a CD and a DVD Movie.

Connected to a laptop using the USB-C style connector. Powered up fine and no need for extra power. There is an included power cable in case your having low power issues. I tested a couple of movie DVD's and tried installing some old software. First, the movies played fine, I use VLC Media player and the movies looked fine. Next is a crummy Windows problem where I can't install old software. Tired installing a 16bit program which was recognized but Windows wouldn't let it install. There are workarounds like using Dosbox. The player runs better than Windows 11. Recommended.

Right out of the box, I was ripping and burning. Works excellent. Very pleased for something so reasonably priced. The cord is short but not a problem as I placed it right beneath the monitor. The manufacturer offered a free two year warranty, the info is in the box. I do recommend this and am very pleased

Easy to Use...Plug and Play all the way. Just what I needed.

It was very easy to install. Came with several different screw drivers. Battery took a full charge with no problem and worked right away.

Really appreciate this affordable disc drive! However, there are definitely annoyances. As others have mentioned, the built-in cable is very short, which is very limiting when trying to find a convenient location to use it. It's also a finicky device that I didn't expect to need ~15 minutes trying to figure out. The physical manual that comes with the device is not comprehensive, so I had to revisit the Amazon product page several times to read through the product description and figure out why it wasn't working. Even the product page wasn't as clear as I needed it to be, so I had to find around 10 different articles online to troubleshoot how to make this specific drive work with my specific computer. (I have a MacBook Pro running with macOS version 15.6.1 (24G90).) But once I finally figured out how to use it, it was great! I've burned a few audio CDs, which sound great when played back.
