The Smurfs 2 (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray)

I bought this as a xmas wrap up as I watched this film at the cinema with the kids ages 12, 11, 8 and 6 (im 42) and we all thought it was brilliant. just as good, if not better than the first film, lots of funny bits in it and kept them all entertained throughout with no "boring" bits. Would recommend, a must "family movie nite"

Both the kids loved the film aged 6 and 5. Had a teams meeting at home for work so kept them quiet for the hour or so I needed! Win Win really 😉

The little blue people are back and this time are in France. There is a return for all the cast members from the first film and a few new faces, both human and smurf. A nice story and a good second film.

Bought this for my 35 year old son, who I'm sure will enjoy it. He liked the first one. Bought partly as a joke as when young and at cub camp they put his toy smurf up the flag pole and he got upset. Never mind. I replaced it, Sent it to him in Afghanistan with the message, " Here's one for the flag pole". He guessed straight away what was inside the parcel. He'll never live it down. The grandchildren loved this film too.

I saw The Smurfs 2 at the movies and this is my 2nd watch. I just like The Smurfs. But it wouldn't be anything without Gargamell (spelling?). Was it as good as the original? You didn;t have the plot line where Patrick and his family had to adjust to getting to know the Smurfs but I liked both additions to the family. And to the Smurf family. Probably watch it again. Granddaughters loved it too.

This is a sweet little film suitable for all ages. Of course I remember the smurf cartoons and comics from my childhood in the 80s. Now the Smurfs are animated in 2010s technology. The Smurfs 2 is a continuation of the original Smurfs movie with more new characters and some of the same Smurfs (Papa, Smurfette) and a few new ones not featured in the original film (like Vanity Smurf). My 4 year old loves this film - he plays it over and over. There are many jokes that go over children’s heads and he acting is well done. The voices of the Smurfs are also well done and entertaining. Highly recommended for children of all ages, and adults too. It’s not a film you’ll groan at having to watch with your child (even over and over again - well, there’s a limit but you get what I mean!)

STORY: Wieder spielt die Story in unserer heutigen Zeit, zum größtenteil in Paris. Gargamel hat zwei "Lümmel" erschaffen (ähnlich wie seinerzeit Schlumpfine). Er lässt Schlumpfine entführen, damit sie ihm die gehheime Zauberformel verrät, die sie seinerzeit zum richtigen Schlumpf werden ließ. Mit dieser Formel will er weitere erschaffene Lümmel zu richtigen Schlümßfen verwandeln, damit er ihre Schlumpfessenz anzapfen kann, um die ganze Welt regieren zu können. Natürlich machen sich Papa Schlumpf und ein Rettungsteam auf, um Schlumpfine zurückzuholen, was sich als sehr schwierig gestalten wird..... MEINUNG: Na, halten wir uns nicht mit Kleinigkeiten auf, die hier immer wieder zu lesen sind: "Blöd dass es nicht im Mittelalter spielt" oder "ich hätte mir andere Schlümpfe gewünscht, die auf Rettungstour gehen"....meine Güte :-D Der Film ist gut. Punkt. Lustig, eine unterhaltsame Story, viele tolle Ideen, und ein wenig spannend. Dass die Geschichte in der Gegenwart spielt, macht es doch um so interessanter. Die Geschichten aus der alten Zeit sind überall zu lesen oder in der Zeichentrickserie gelaufen. Und würde man hier ein Remake hinlegen, würde sich der Eine oder Andere dann wieder daran stören, dass es nicht wie das Original rüberkommt. Also, soviel dazu. Das hier ist Kino für die gesamte Familie. Wobei hier ja auch in den Rezensionen FSK 0 hinterfragt wird. Naja, eine FSK 4 gibt es nicht, aber ich denke, Kinder unter 4 werden überfordert sein.... TON & BILD: Sehr gutes und scharfes Bild! Tonspur gibt es in deutsch und englisch in DTS-HD 5.1 (sehr guter Klang); sowie in dänisch, finnisch, norwegisch, schwedisch uuuuund türkisch (!) in DD 5.1. EXTRAS: Klasse!:5 Featurettes, Entfallene Szenen und eine Smurf-O-Vision 2 App FAZIT: Wer den ersten Teil mochte, kann getrost beim zweiten zugreifen. Die 3D-Version habe ich nicht gesehen, bin aber von der normalen BluRay auch schon begeistert. Kinder werden viel zu lachen haben, für uns Erwachsene ist es unterhaltsam und hin und wieder schmunzelt man mit. Ein Film mit Wohlfühlfaktor....

Ce film est super,pourtant j'ai 68 ans,mais je me suis retrouvé comme un gosse en le visionnant. L'histoire est marrante et quelquefois tragique.Très bon rendu par la qualité de ce DVD.
