Life-Changing Treadmill – NordicTrack T5 with iFIT
Life-Changing Treadmill – NordicTrack T5 with iFITI’ve never been a fan of gyms and always struggled to stay active—until I got the NordicTrack T5 with iFIT. This treadmill has truly changed my lifestyle for the better. Before, I found it hard to stay consistent with any kind of workout routine. But the T5, combined with the iFIT training programs, made it easy and even enjoyable to start moving again. I now use it five times a week, and I actually look forward to it! The variety of iFIT workouts, from scenic walks to energizing cardio sessions, keeps things fresh and motivating. I can walk through the mountains of Switzerland or the beaches of Hawaii—all from my living room. It’s helped me become active again without the pressure or discomfort of a public gym. The treadmill is smooth, sturdy, and easy to use, and the iFIT coaching is like having a personal trainer who keeps you going, no matter your fitness level. If you’re someone who wants to get mobile again but doesn’t love the gym scene, this might be exactly what you need. It got me moving again—and more importantly, it’s helped me stick with it.

Great buy
Very heavy machine, I’m on the second floor and initially Amazon delivery drivers refused to take it to the second floor despite me checking with Amazon prior to purchasing the installation with delivery. I went down and helped them during my lunch break bringing each piece bit by bit. Machine works well, has a built in fan and speakers which I didn’t know it had. The display is basic but basic is all you need and machine seems to be well built though some plastic trim in one of the corners seems flimsy as it may have been installed incorrectly, though purely aesthetic. I’ve yet to try the ifit system. I’ve registered it to get the two year manufacturer’s warranty, also purchased the extended 4 year warranty when placing my order which I strongly suggest you do too as Nordictrack don’t offer an extended warranty and haven’t for a while. All in was about 1400 with the warranty, so far it’s worth every penny though you may find it cheaper elsewhere without the warranty which seems like a big risk for a large purchase.

Quality product
Really pleased with NordicTrack treadmill. Very robust frame and feels like a gym machine. Having iFit subscription is a key as you can get access to thousands of workouts, however, not necessary.

Issues with console
After a year of light use, I went on holiday 3 weeks and when back the threadmill console just died. According to reviews it was supposed to last. It's just broken now and I'm going to throw it away and replace it with something else I guess. Not at all a quality threadmill, seems well built, but it's actually bad hardware.

Great treadmill
First i had a heart attack when my treadmill arrived because of its size and weight. There was no spanner with the tools that came with it so had to use a wrench which just about did the job, after looking for ages for a spanner in the box, there wasn't one so that was annoying. It took about an hour to set up thanks to the men in my family to help set it up. You do need 2 people as i also had it taken upstairs. Once set up i realised there was no lubricant that came with the treadmill, i'm guessing you have to get it separately. It took me a few days deciding if i should keep it or not, it takes up a lot of space and is heavy as f***. The speakers aren't very loud when listening to music, you may aswel use headphones. The incline at 10% is quite high and the programs also seem okay, its really easy to use. The material of the belt looks rubbish quality. The sound when using the treadmill isn't very loud. Overall apart from the treadmill being a massive and heavy monster, it works well. Been using it almost every day and slowly getting used to it. If it wasn't so heavy and if the belt was more better quality it would've been perfect so i'd give it a 7 out of 10.

Great for walking and running.
Walking or running this treadmill is fantastic and caters for both. The belt and motor is on par with a lot of commercial treadmills although slightly smaller but for home use it ticks all boxes along with a 10 level motorised incline. The treadmill also works in conjunction with an ifit subscription which has great tailored workouts with videos.

Solid Quality and Great To Use!
Another reviewer summed this treadmill up perfectly...it is a beast!I've had several treadmills over the past few years and this is by far the best quality one I've ever used. It is however also quite a large one, the only larger ones I've used have been in gyms! So make sure you have ample space. It does fold up, but even in that position you won't gain back much floor space. The pros are that you get a larger (width) running track than cheaper ones sold on amazon, also it accommodates my ageing rugby player frame (being 6ft 2in and 127kg) with ease. The controls are super easy to use, as i'm re-doing the couch to 5K app the one touch speed increase/decrease controls make transitions from walk to run very easy. It also has a very decent suspension system to take some of the shock out of the experience for us more novice runners! It is a very sturdy machine, no wobble/rattle etc like i've had on cheaper machines. Putting it together is ideally a two person job and a set of spanners or preferably a socket set will speed the construction up no end!It does come with a free trial to iFit, so you can sit an iPad on the console and turn the whole experience into a peloton type experience with class trainers and videos etc. Which sounds fun, not tried it as it's not my thing but it's there if you want it.Overall, a great piece of kit that is more like the treadmills at a commercial gym than the ones you'd see on the TV shopping channels. Yes, it is double the price of others on Amazon but I think that is justified by the quality and features.
