i bought this because i found lego gru to be a goofy looking little guy. i can confirm that this gru lived up to my expectations. the minions spinning around is a pretty cool feature too, but i honestly only care about the gru. you can pose his hands and his little fingers and that is a surprisingly great addition to the gru experience

Very complicated but well worth it! Gru is much larger than you would think. Our grandchildren loved it, and we put in many hours making it together. The minion characters are spot on.
